I already reported that Fox is reconsidering its decision to cancel new comedy Breaking In. In another sign that there is hope for the show, Fox has moved its season finale next week from its post-American Idol Wednesday 9:30 PM slot to Tuesday 9:30 PM where it will air after Raising Hope. Because it has only aired after Idol, the network wants to test Breaking In as part of its comedy block. Good performance there will solidify the rookie’s chances to come back from the dead for a second time. Meanwhile, Fox will extend Idol‘s penultimate performance show to two hours next week.

That’s the best TV news I’ve heard all week. Best wishes to Christian for breaking his streak
DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW!! Christian Slater is perfect for this role and the rest of the cast is good too.
Very entertaining. The show didn’t get much of a chance. I know several people who enjoy it, but don’t watch American Idol so one has to remember the time and go find it…
I’m a little surprised at how pleased I am to hear that. Go Breaking In!
I feel like this move is more due to the fact that Idol will do a lot better then Breaking In on Wed. and Breaking In could do a lot better then Traffic Light on Tue. Probably nothing to do with them giving it a tryout someplace else.
So happy to hear this
Lol, I’m sorry but Breaking In will tank on Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. without the lead-in!
hey! keep ur pessimism to urself!!! We Breaking In fans are happy their giving it a chance again. They already made the mistake once of not adding it last year, and they’ll regret cancelling it again if they do.
i dont think it will tank but it does have some stiff competition goin in that time slot. tuesdays on CBS has two of the highest rated shows goin, that being NCIS and NCIS LA. with the breakin in show falling into the block with the second half of LA, it has its work cut out for it. i love both shows and really hope breakin in does well. i am glad i have tivo so both can be recorded
Ya know I wasn’t a fan of this show at first but my wife loves it – and I have to admit, i’m really starting to dig this show, so this is exciting to hear.
Awesome!
Please bring this show back. We need more Odette on TV!
Now hopefully the fans will find it!! Keeping my fingers crossed!!
OMG! So excited about this! #SaveBreakingIn !
Michael Rosenbaum is brilliant in this show. He brings comedic joy and contagious enthusiasm to every scene. Bravo!
omg! so excited about this!
I’ve enjoyed the program and it doesn’t matter what time it’s on.
Keep this show on air,Michael is an amazing talent.
Geektime saves all
Of course it would do well after a comedy its only brain dead teenyboppers that love that JustinBeaver moron that watch idol still. That show has lost its allure long ago. Comedys shall soon reign again with clever humor like Breaking In, maybe we will soon be leaving reality tv hell. God I hope so. Long live Breaking In!!!
MICHAEL ROSENBAUM WAS BRILLIANT IN THE SMALLVILLE FINALE..
PLEASE GIVE HIM WHATEVER HE WANTS. FOX, I DEMAND YOU TO GIVE HIM BREAKING IN. NOW!
YAY! Come on FOX, this one is a no brainer… great show!
This is awesome. The show is great and deserves a shot.
I have pretty much given up on network t.v., other than Chuck there hasn’t been anything worth watching in awhile. I gave Breaking In a chance because of Christian Slater and becauase I loved the dark humour of Reaper (which was, of course, cancelled).
The show is original, quirky, surprising and funny. Slater has found the perfect role for his talent and feels completely natural. I’m very glad to hear the news that the network is reconsidering something that is actually good and in no way involes Hollywood’s version of “realty”.
What? They’re moving it to Tuesday, where it will be up against Dancing With the Stars and NCIS:LA?Two shows known to average 15M+ viewers each?
The ratings will undoubtedly be much lower with those two shows to contend with.I hope it doesn’t fall below what Fox feels is acceptable.
Please keep it! It’s a really great show!
BEST NEWS EVER!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
Noooo
I am so tired of watching good shows get pulled before it’s time. This is one of those shows that can be on for many seasons. I love it and want it to stick around…. Please keep this show on!!! Michael R. is hilarious & Slater has found a home.
