MTV Renews ‘Teen Mom’ For Fourth Season

• Is this for the original girls whose third season is premiering, or for the TEEN MOM 2 group? Either way, good news. If any critic would actually watch the show before commenting, they would see that it really does not in any way glamourize teen pregnancy. Good for MTV.

  This show does nothing but make girls WANT to get pregnant. Especially the white trash moronic trailer park girls who think getting knocked up will be their ticket to fame and fortune. It’s pathetic.

  • I agree. While the SHOW may not glamorize pregnancy, the aftermath does — many of these girls have been on the cover of People magazine and are featured on ET and Access Hollywood. They are reality “stars”. So I wouldn’t be surprised if many girls with seemingly-limited prospects are trying to get pregnant as we speak for their easy ticket to fame.

    • How is that the show’s fault? Blame the tabloids. Also, if you want to be precise, you should have noted that any appearances they do are controlled by the network and ALWAYS have the message of safe sex and how to prevent pregnancy. Please don’t blame them for something that is not in their control. Again, the critics need to actually watch…

• They should pull MTV off the air all together, between this Teen pregnant show and the other teen show where under age kids do drugs and have sex! MTV should learn about ” personal responsibilities “, MTV should do a reality TV show about the ” welfare/ foodstamps ” people and their offices and prisons….it’s how you ” prevent ” teenage pregnancy! This is the exact reason why the Republicans want to defund planned parenthood and end government entitlements….MTV want to show kids with no money, no job, no means of support , no spouses, no education having babies so they can’t raise them and in turn the public pays for it! MTV should be off the air!

  • I agree! All of Hollywood should be shut down! It doesn’t matter that the entirety of the show is about portraying the consequences of pre-marital sex. It’s still sex! And sex is bad! Call the Republicans, they are the only ones who can clean up this mess!

• Mtv does not make teen motherhood look easy.DO you watch it?The girls struggle with education, missing out on their high school days,friends not being there for them.Do you see all the Dads sticking around and the teen relationships working out to be the perfect hwppy couples?It is proving that just because you are having a child the men do not always stick around.What Jill your age?Did teen preg not happen when you were a teen.In no way is teen mom making teens get preg, that is ignorant.
