‘X FACTOR’ DRAMA: Paula Abdul Asked To Judge Without Done Deal
I hear Paula Abdul just closed her deal to be the fourth judge on Fox’s The X Factor and is getting ready for tomorrow’s first two auditions tapings at 1 PM and 6 PM. With contract negotiations dragging on until the last possible minute, it is a good thing that the tapings are here in Los Angeles. Simon Cowell has a penchant for drama, and his U.S. X Factor has already offered a lot of that. The series’ hosts, Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones, were announced earlier this evening, less than 24 hours before they will emcee the first auditions. The other three judges on the reality show are Cowell, Antonio L.A. Reid and Cheryl Cole, marking Cowell’s reunion with his former American Idol cohort Abdul and his sidekick on the U.K. version of X Factor Cole.

It’s about time. Without Paula this show would be unwatchable Cheryl, Nicole, Steve, and LA are not worth tuning in for and Simon is uninteresting without Paula.
Great, so are we finally done having to hear every whiff of anything potentially related this show?
Now there are going to be two Brits with thick accents – Cheryl Cole (Geordie) and Steve Jones (Welsh). I can’t wait to see the public’s response to this when the X Factor first season begins.
It would be good if they include guest judges on the panel from the UK X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent such Dannii Minogue, Louis Walsh, Amanda Holden and Michael Mcintyre.

I turned off American Idol because I could no longer tolerate Paulas’s incoherent ramblings. I’ll pass on this effort…
I will never, ever, understand the iconic appeal of Paula Abdul.
With Paula and Cowell to tandem again as Judges, for sure, its going to be a nice show for it’s spectators.

Does anything think Paula left Idol not knowing she was going to get an X Factor offer? That the “last minute contract” comments are not just drama to make people think Paula may not do it. Sure, she gave up $$$ on Idol to walk off into the sunset. She hasn’t exactly been front page news. She quit Idol, took a long vacation and knew where he next job was. Certain of it.
When will the USA realise that X Factor is all about drama, making up false stories like Paula and Cheryl want to sit next to Simon etc etc. This is how they make money through idiots (like myself) reading and responding. Cheryl won’t get the job, Cheryl will get the job – that’s one. Cheryl and Ashley back together again or NOT – that’s two examples. Cheryl and Derek Hough, true or false. That’s fine but let’s not pretend that mimer and untalented racist Cheryl Tweedy Cole has talent, looks maybe. I read this morning somewhere, ‘America go crazy for Cheryl Cole’ WHY? Can no-one see talent anymore. Nicole is a Host and not a Judge (as she should be) because Cheryl did not want the job with Nicole Scherzinger on the Panel.(lovely girl right?) (Could it be Nicole is more beautiful and a threat?) Paula at least has talent as a singer, dancer and choreographer and brings unpredictability. No I don’t hate Ms Tweedy but I believe in credit where it’s due and Cheryl’s fame (today) is down to Cowell and his powers and because he fancies her more than his fiancee Mezghan. Cheryl lovers say UK say nasty things about her but have any of you read the nasty things Ms Tweedy says about other celebrities? No? then don’t judge people who just believe that if you are talented you deserve it all the way but cannot understand what the fuss is with Ms Tweedy and that really is all it is. Show me what she’s got other than posing and looking into the camera and relying COMPLETELY on her looks and Simon Cowell.
Really? No not Paula and Simon? whatever. I will not be watching. why did he have to bring her back? she is so boring! Either way i am not watching the train wreck.
