Strand Releasing has closed a deal for U.S. distribution rights to Here, the Braden King-directed road movie that premiered at the Berlin Film Festival. Ben Foster and Lubna Azabal star in a film about the relationship between an American satellite-mapping engineer (Foster) and an Armenian photographer (Azabal) who impulsively travel together into uncharted territory. Preferred Media and K5 International brokered the deal.

This is amazing. Fantastic. I’m looking very much forward to this. I’ve always wanted Hollywood to make movies in Armenia. I hope this is the first of many to come and that this gets a theatrical release and becomes a grand success both critically and commercially.
This was the most boring confused pretentious thing to come out of Sundance in I can’t remember how long.
