We have a trilogy – On tonight’s season finale of Saturday Night Live hosted by Justin Timberlake, he teamed with Andy Samberg for 3-Way (The Golden Rule), a triquel to their Emmy-winning digital short Dick In a Box and Emmy-nominated Motherlover. Timberlake and Samberg are back as their 1990s-inspired characters, joined by their Motherlover co-stars Patricia Clarkson and Susan Sarandon as well as the show’s musical guest Lady Gaga. Overall, Timberlake solidified his status as one of SNL‘s most entertaining hosts with a mix of new and familiar characters.

Freakin’ hilarious. Love it!
Ha, Lady Gaga was actually funny and sexy here. The HELICOPTERDICK!
Even though I stand by the belief that SNL hasn’t been as funny as it was in the 90′s, I can still say I laughed out loud at some of Timberlake’s skits.
Yo, “no homo,” it’s OK if it’s in a 3-Way.
Funny thing is, if this wasn’t a clever parody, this could actually be a hit on the radio – the new jack swing sound, the hook, the harmonies, all good.
GaGa was great, but the rest of the skit was NOT that funny!
good..
The only crack-a-smile-moment in the entire 90 minute show. Outside of the ridiculous blatant lip syncing of Lady Ga Ga’s “Judas,” of course.
Fantastic! Good to see Lady Gaga’s talent used to its fullest.
Helicopterdick for the win! Very cute.
There were 2 amusing sketches on SNL last night — this being one of them. The rest…not so much.
I still like the Bee Gees skit better when Justin Timberlake played Robin Gibb on his brother Barry’s political show.
Not a big fan of this number, but Timberlake’s opening bit about ‘not gonna sing a song’ was fantastic and the dancing beer bottle… the guy’s incredibly talented. Perfect SNL host.
Dick in a Box is the best! 3-Way wasn’t as funny but still amusing.
Anne Hathaway is still my most favorite SNL host this year ( and my most favorite female SNL host in the past few years ). Hathaway’s impressions of Judy Garland from ‘ Wizard of Oz ‘ , Katie Holmes, and the drunk hillbilly customer were brilliant and hilarious . Anne is truly a triple threat talent , that will have a long career .
The thing that would “REALLY” invigorate SNL would be for JT to join SNL for a year like Billy Crystal did in the 1980′s. And Lorne better start grooming a successor quickly otherwise his new bosses will show him the door as just as they did with “Emperor & Roone Arledge wanna-be”, Dick Ebersol!
F for Failure.
Catchy tune, very retro, and Gaga rockin’ the Chrissy side ponytail is extra hilarious and sweet!
This and the liquor store sketch were the best moments. The rest? Eh. The opener was TERRIBLE.
Enjoyed the show, but nit so sure there were any original characters on the show. With the exception of the opening sketch, literally every other sketch was a recurring bit they had done before on the show.
Please tell me the SNL/Michaels braintrust is developing a movie for these characters.
Love them together–very cute.
these two should make a movie out of these two characters
Holy crap, NBC has a awful player. It reminds me of having to use Realplayer back in 2000.
Hey NBC, I get that you’re terrified of the internet, but maybe don’t show your derision quite so overtly.
SNL is best when JT is on. I love that boy. LOVE him.
