EXCLUSIVE: On the same day that the pro-Sarah Palin documentary The Undefeated unveiled its premiere date, Deadline has learned that there’s another Palin doc in the works, this one from filmmaker Nick Broomfield – and it appears from an exclusive clip (below) that it’s not going to be quite as favorable toward the former vice presidential candidate. There is a screening for buyers next week in Los Angeles, I’m told. Broomfield’s doc purports to dig into Palin’s public and private life and features interviews with her parents, ex-aides, and both friends and foes from her time as Alaska governor. Meanwhile, Stephen K. Bannon’s The Undefeated, which favorably chronicles Palin’s rise from obscurity to the national stage, will have its world premiere June 28 in Pella, Iowa. Here’s that exclusive clip from Broomfield’s doc:

I am no fan of and would never vote for Hilary, but at least she is a hard worker and worked hard at, you know, actually knowing facts and issues. All the things with which Palin clearly couldn’t be bothered.
Finally, Palin QUIT her job as governor. the people of Alaska voted her in and trusted her to serve faithfully. I believe this is essentially a contract with your constituents and you are bound by duty to serve to the end of that term or DON’T run in the first place! But oh, no – she couldn’t be bothered with doing the job the people of Alaska gave her. She needed to run off and make speeches and grab at as much money as possible.

This “trove” was carefully screened and filtered by Palin herself. So this doesn’t “prove” anything. How would you know what “everyone” is doing in the film business? Film folks are dealing with agents, managers, executives, clients, lawyers, etc — they’re not INDIVIDUALS being PAID by public tax dollars. And incidentally, WTF does Sarah Palin have to do with the film business? If she’s there to run the state, her mouth should be closed, eyes open and ears LISTENING to what’s going on for the people of her state. Nice Try, though. The emails prove otherwise; the emails show a Governor fully comfortable with handling nearly every aspect of state government.

The maker of this anti-Palin documentary knows very well that Bitney and Green always talk very badly about Sarah Palin; so if you want to hear gossip and personal attacks then you have to interview these people.

Did I miss something? Last time I checked Sarah Palin was never elected president of this great country (thankfully). Hell, she couldn’t even be bothered to finish her term as governor of Alaska.
I haven’t seen this documentary so unlike you I won’t pre-judge it, but just because it doesn’t kneel before the altar of Palin doesn’t mean it’s a hit piece. Sometimes the truth hurts.
Oh, and what has Sarah Palin done to be called a patriot? Has she served her country a member of the military, a police officer, a fireman? Has she ever taught low income children, helped the poor in any way? Just wearing a flag pin and calling yourself a patriot doesn’t make it so.

Why is it people are giving her excuses for the cell phone usage by comparing it to Hollywood meetings, yet they criticize teenagers for spending so much time texting/tweeting and not engaging others in physical conversation? Producers have a responsibility to make money so maybe they can get away with being rude. Governors are supposed to be leading the state for their public’s benefit, and if they want to be re-elected, they pay attention to their potential voters. She probably knew she wasn’t going to try to run again, and she wanted “Governor of Alaska” on the ol’ resume.

Mommy and Daddy sent you to an elite private school and then paid for your Ivy League Education or perhaps USC film school. And the sad thing is you know it is and there is nothing you can do to fix it because you have never lived in the real world.
