Dimension’s president of production Brad Luff has left the company. He’d been appointed last October after leaving his job as senior vice president of the Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group last fall to manage the development slate for Bob Weinstein’s genre label. Sounds like it wasn’t a good fit. Luff had been at SPWAG since December 2008 and before that he was president of production for The Mayhem Project and Morgan Creek Productions. He broke through at Original Film. Developing.

Who will collapse first, Relativity or TWC?
It’s a race to the death.
CBS Films!
Sounds about right.
WHAT IS A GOOD FIT? …..Matt Brodlie! He started at Dimension. He should be brought back plus his name is Matt and he would fit in with the other Matts at Dimension.
Ruh-roh Shaggy! Zoinks!!!
He’s not a good fit anywhere apparently, but why not keep giving him top jobs instead of someone else who is more deserving?
Brad got run over by Bob Weinstein. He is the first and won’t be the last.
Piece of advice if the Weinstein’s call you. Run. No really run. Or if you have a score to settle recommend your worst enemy. Let Bob and Harvey ruin their life. It’s what they do. They are the worst bosses in the world. Period.
Brad is a super nice guy who was a deer in headlights with these two. Someone needs to grab Brad and give him a good Sr. VP job he deserves it.
The Brothers add another notch. NEXT!
Luff is a great guy. I wish him well wherever he lands.
Brad Luff is a honest, hardworking, good guy. That’s probably why it didn’t work with Bob.
Brad is a great guy who never had a chance there. Brothas be crazy!
Luff is a solid guy with a good taste. That’s a tough shop for anyone to last.
Super nice guy, very creative.
congrats, brad. that position is pure torture – everyone knows it. we are happy for you and excited to see what’s next. anyone who has worked with bob weinstein will tell you he is 100% evil.
Hell Yeah! Happy for Luff. Im with the Anonymous guy.. If Bob calls you, you better run for your life. I would not even recommend this job to my worst enemy.
Great News! Congratulations, Brad! Who will Bob torture next? Stay tuned…
Such a fantastic guy – always great to work with! How many people have said that about Bob? Glad he’s out of there. Cheers!
What’s the point of having two labels when they tend to overlap?
