  • Anything that opens No. 1 is a “box office biggie”, at least to FX. I think they only got Mr Popper’s Penguins because it’s a Fox movie.

• Did someone yell Fire Sale? 75% of the listed movies were so-so in both execution and dollars. Yes, a few made lots of money, but the rest. Eh.
