Finally, this show ends. And I say that as a fan of the first three seasons. RM went completely off the rails after Chief offed himself and hasn’t recovered since. Too bad, because up until then the show was great.
Consistently one of the best written and well acted series on television.
should have ended this show after season 3
The show definitely went completely off the rails. Yet I’m such a fan of the first 3 seasons, I’ve got to see it through. It’s been postponed an entire day? Can they fix that much in a day?
Tired. So tired.
One of the best ensemble casts on television. I agree it should have ended after season 3 though.
Is this vanity project still on? I thought this was cancelled a couple years ago. At least it should have been, after season three.
This is still on and does anyone really care?
FX does a horrible job marketing and promoting their series.
FX needs to start spending sme money.
Does anyone remember when FX first began? They showed repeats of Dynasty and Wonder Woman.
Didn’t Jeff Probst host some kind of animal show?
I remember an antiques show.
By the time they finally air the premiere episode this season, it will have been more than a year since an original episode of this show was last seen on tv. Why even bring it back at this point? They’ve lost any few remaining fans of what was once a top notch program. It deserved better than be swept into oblivion like an insect on the bottom of FX’s shoe.
I absolutely love this show , even though I’m 17 years old i’ve watched this show beging and now through the end. It’s my favriote series ever , Indeed I noticed they started falling apart in season 4 a lot changed and I don’t think it was for the best They tried picking it back up and it just didn’t work But i’ll never bad mouth it I love this show and always will .
You all can throw RM under the bus, but I for one love this show and am looking forward to it’s return. I feel there’s still a good story line going and it will be interesting to see how they put it all together for the series finale this fall.
After “The Job” and now “Rescue Me”, I’m still a fan and as far as I’m concerned, Leary can take the same premise and create another series (maybe this time about an EMT, postal carrier, garbage man, etc., – doesn’t matter as long as the characters are interesting and the story is funny and edgy.
Wise up great series and will be terribly missed.
Make more rescue me, who will want to know about delivering post or smelling of rubbish.
