Lisa Edelstein has booked her first post-House gig — an arc on the CBS drama series The Good Wife next season. Edelstein, who shockingly exited House last month after seven years, will play a lawyer/poker player on the praised CBS legal drama. More from TVLine, which has the news.

Good for her!!!
Smart move, TGW. Win-win for everyone involved, mostly for the viewers.
Other than 30ROCK is there any other talent-magnet than TGW! Absolutely brilliant!
Amazing cast. Can´t wait for season 3.
CBS has consigned this excellent show to the 10pm Sunday graveyard spot— which from September until end of December, NFL season, will mean the show probably won’t be on the air til well past that late hour. DOOMED.
Rock on Lisa. Prospering is the best answer to the douchebags who wanted to cut your salary.
Even if I am a House fan I hope those episodes she guest stars on get wide critical acclaim just so Fox realizes what a huge mistake they made.
Damn I didn’t even know she had left House. TGW rocks. An Emmy for Alan Cumming, please!
So YOU’RE the guy under that rock in the Geico commercial.
I WISH LISA ALL THE BEST ON ”THE GOOD WIFE”.SHE IS A WONDERFUL ACTRESS & IT WAS A MISTAKE FOR PEOPLE AT ”HOUSE” TO LET HER GO. LISA WILL TRULY BE MISSED ON”HOUSE”, & “THE GOOD WIFE” HAS A VERY TALENTED LADY JOINING THEIR CAST. “LISA, ALL THE BEST BABY”! THANK YOU FOR POSTING MY COMMENTS.
Good for her..TGW is one of the best written TV shows on air right now period…HOUSE has been on the decline for the last 3 seasons..What a great move for her. Besides she had no chemistry with ‘House’ in a sexual way…boring indeed! I’m not sure wh is writing for this show and running it for that matter but you lost me 3 seasons ago…same ole’ same ole’ When House had clinic duty–that was good funny stuff…6 minutes per episode every now and then to change things up… Everyone made such a big deal about olivia Wilde–who cares she’s not all that in fact she’s quite f..cking boring on this show and with anything else I’ve ever seen her in…The real talent that they put on the back burner in every episode is Omar Epps–how misued is this guy and Robert Leonard?? seriously. They got rid of Anne Dudek—another great talent in a great role opposite Leonard..what a waste. This show is done! Good for you Lisa.
She won’t be missed. Not that I don’t love House and her on the show, but the whole House/Cuddy romance thing nearly ruined last season and much of this season. It’s old and needed to go away. Great to see House back to his normal self. They have so much they could do with a replacement: Laurie’s old pal Frye, John Cleese or even Kelsey Grammer. The sexual tension thing played itself out, time for a new take on House’s character.
I hope all goes well for Ms. E. — BUT I’d love to see her back for some guest appearances on HOUSE. Well paid of course!
