EXCLUSIVE: There are now three nuns in The Three Stooges. Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson has signed on to play Sister Rosemary. She joins Jane Lynch, who’s playing Mother Superior, and Larry David, who’s playing Mother Mengele. I’m betting that Sister Rosemary is the nice one at the orphanage where the Stooges come of age, despite the best efforts of the nuns to get the precocious trio adopted. The 20th Century Fox comedy has begun production, with Peter and Bobby Farrelly directing Chris Diamantopoulos (Moe), Sean Hayes (Larry) and Will Sasso (Curly).

Yeah, when I read that Larry David will play a nun named “Mother Mengele,” I immediately felt the comic level of this film skyrocket. That sentence alone is hilarious. Mother Mengele!? Inspired!!
Am I the only one who thinks Shemp was way funnier than Curly?
If you want vintage Shemp, try to find a video of “Crazy House”, he’s hysterical delivering the oldest and baddest one liners: “Ya wanna buy a piece of chalk and make your mark in the world?”

The Stooges were great when it was Larry and the brothers Howard. Shemp and Curly were different branches of the same tree where all of the “new” Curlys were mostly filling in for the dead. However, Shemp was a lot better at remembering his lines. Curly would mostly forget them and do his nyuk nyuk rolling on the floor move default.
I think she stinks!!!!! She is a screamer not a singer!!!!
Yes, this movie would be great if it weren’t for her. And since she’s playing a nun, I doubt she would be singing.
