AMC Theatres will be the exclusive exhibitor for the pro-Sarah Palin documentary The Undefeated, which charts the ex-Alaska governor’s rise to national prominence, and has solidified a release date: July 15 in select cities (Dallas, Denver, Oklahoma City, Orlando, Atlanta, Orange County, Phoenix, Houston, Indianapolis, and Kansas City). Cinedigm Digital Cinema is managing the release; ARC Entertainment will distribute worldwide. The doc, written and directed by Stephen K. Bannon (Generation Zero, celebrating the Tea Party movement, and In The Face Of Evil, lionizing President Reagan), was produced by Victory Film Group co-founder Glenn Bracken Evans and Dan Fleuette and financed independently. Today’s announcement also said that the public will be able to vote for more theater locations. It will be interesting to see whether Iowa, New Hampshire and and South Carolina screens pop up in the near future as Palin ponders a run for the White House in 2012.

“DUMB AND DUMBEST” coming to a screen near you!
With SP playing both parts, I presume?
Matthew 12:34
34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
The Left is going through every one of her 24,000 emails as Governor because she’s obviously “irrelevant”. You wouldn;t be liberals if you made any sense.
Thank you! Let not your heart be discouraged, they really are the fallen ones, are they not? How they relish all that is wrong, and hate all that is good.
Sucks to be them! God bless Sarah.
Sarah Palin is the best she can do no wrong!
The should have called it, “The Quitter”
I suppose we’re all supposed to forget that she was defeated in that last election, and drug McCain right down with her.
I’m planning a new zombie movie where Sarah is the only person in the world the zombies won’t chase — No brains!! yuk,yuk,yuk.
I’ve got news for you — the majority of people who voted for McCain did so because of Sarah Palin’s energy and excitement compared to John McCain’s lack thereof. He would’ve gotten way fewer votes with some boring ass white guy as his running mate. Maybe do your homework on this woman instead of allowing yourself to be spoonfed all the drivel you seem to be able to stomach.
Please go watch this film. You will then understand how your buddies filed frivolous ethics charges one after another so as to nearly bankrupt her and cost the state of Alaska millions defending her. She did the right thing letting Sean Parnell take over as Governer. She could not function effectively as Governer having to deal with thatevery day. I am so glad the left wanted to trek through Sarah’s emails. It’s one of those great in your face embarrassments they deserve.
You can look your all your life and not find a more honest and clean politician. The reason the establishment Republicans don’t like her; she will clean that house of corrupt repubs like she did in Alaska. The reason the Dems fear her more is she will make them irrelevent for the next 50 years.
AMEN! I am leary of people who have such closed minds they form opinions of people they have not met, movies they have not seen, etc. I am waiting to see the movie before I form an opinion and suggest others do the same.
I was a resident of Alaska during Palin’s term and what you say is the truth. Merit-less ethic charges filed against her cost the state and her personally, hundreds of thousands of dollars and made doing the state’s business nearly impossible. Those that spout the “quitter” garbage are just pawns of the Mahers and the Olbermans of the world. People will ingest and barf up anything that the BS media throws at them without a single fact in sight.
Ever wonder how little it takes for a liberal to trash the compassion and question the intelligence of a self-made Governor raising a special-needs child as her oldest son serves in Iraq?
I’ve heard from several sources the film is wonderful.
you mean the film with your mom?
Why do I think this will be similar to having to look at someone’s photo’s from a trip? Actually is sounds LESS interesting.
Palin isnt’ even a politician anymore as she’s been out of the governor’s office as long or longer than she was actually in. 2-ish years of work 2-ish years ago. Um, yeah, that’s not interesting and neither is being the mayor of a tiny middle of nowhere town.
She’s a celebrity, not a leader and this movie won’t make people forget her celebrity feuds, reality tv shows, tabloid headlines, etc.
And PS Sarah..you were defeated by Obama/Biden and by the state of Alaska when you quit.
Not a fan of Palin at all, but I can’t blame them. This will put asses in seats. Probably more people that hate her will go than people who like her.
I hate her and have NO intention of going to see this. In fact, I will avoid any theatre that’s even playing it during it’s run.
Right on.
You follow any moron don’t you comrade.
It’s so interesting how these folks hate Sarah Palin SOOO much…..why specifically?????
One of my honest liberal friends admitted to me that Sarah Palin hits a deep, subconcious nerve with some…..and it all comes back to ABORTION. The unspoken guilt they feel….she triggers a nagging reminder of their own denial and regret perhaps. When they see her in the spotlight, how she has made the best of her life and her choices, and her persistent genuine happiness with her beautiful family….it drives them mad with rage.
Why do you hate her? If you are tired of seeing her on TV, it is the media’s fault for putting her there. If it’s her politics, then vote the other way. If it is her appearance, then you must hate all women of average beauty. What is it that you disdain so much about Sarah Palin?
Before you hate someone, you should do some homework. However, you’re probably a freeloader who wants to feast on the government tit your whole pitiful life.
All the comments from those “HATING” Sarah Palin are quite interesting in that none of them give a REASON for such hatred. Could it be they “hate” anyone with whom they disagree? This is supposed to be a country with free speech and freedom of opinion. I don’t “hate” liberals just because I disagree with them. I love to debate them. Unfortunately, they are often unable to rationally discuss our differences without resorting to hate speech and name-calling. Interesting.
Can’t handle dominant females now can you Bobby boy.
All you have is HATE buddy– What did Palin actually do to you ?? Did she boil your bunny ??
Let’s do a little re-cap here: Sudden and unprecedented national and international acclaim and recognition, universally acknowledged as having given the best speech ever at a presidential convention by any vice-presidential candidate of either party;
incredible fame and respect for beliefs authentically held;
a nomination to the vice-presidential part of a ticket by one of two major political parties;
tons of money in her bank account with no end to it in sight;
has “it all”: a nurturing mother of lots of children with a completely self-directed career who lives in a pristine, clean natural recreational wonderland with fresh air and ample food;
married to a hunky capable husband who loves her dearly and shares the parenting;
awarded a coveted Fox News commentator job without having to audition for it;
role-model status among parents – especially parents of special needs children — who love her wholesome family values and their children, including having them instead of killing them through casual abortions serving as birth control;
her very first comedy gig is on The Tonight Show, which few career comedians ever achieve and those few who do – mostly liberals – must wait years and sometimes decades to get, and hers is a complete success;
a fulfilled list of promises as Alaskan governor and policies she’s established and given to a hand-picked successor to carry on – likely into another new term because she picked him;
and powerful make-or-break influence on proposed national Democrat legislation and in elections throughout America.
Yeah, I’d say she’s done well and is still doing okay, with the lucrative work she’s been given, after she entrusted Alaska into the very capable hands of her handpicked successor.
You left off a few “smackdowns”.
- Shutdown William Shatner, by mocking his auto-biography on the Conan Obrien Show. He was doing the same to her. We haven’t heard from Billy boy since.
- Shutdown Chris Christie who was beginning to criticize her regularly till Palin pointed out that cutting budgets is easy to do when you have no money. She exercised fiscal restraint during good times, leaving Alaska with a $12 billion surplus. Tub-o-lard has been silent ever since.
I’m kind of confused by the title. Shouldn’t undefeated people be… undefeated?
reality is subjective.
Nice try at a classic lib “Gotcha” question.
Yeah, just cause she lost an election doesn’t make her undefeated. Stupid liberals. Go watch Sean Hannity and learn how it’s done.
Dude. I was joking.
Yes, I could have sworn that the 2008 Republican presidential ticket was McCain-Palin, and that they were defeated in the election by the Democratic presidential ticket of Obama-Biden. I guess I must be crazy, since she’s apparently undefeated.
No omne believes Palin lost the election for McCain. McCain did. The campaign made Gov. Palin a star and, arguably, the most powerful woman in America after Oprah Winfrey.
I was considering whether to vote for McCain until he put this nitwit on the ticket. My vote ten went to Obama. Just sayin…..
Ditto
How’s that working out for you? nitwit
Had Sarah Palin been defeated, Democrats would not have spent millions of hours and hundreds of millions of dollars trying to dig up dirt and attacking her children to get at her.
Undoubtedly it will be FREE ADMISSION.
What are you…a Socialist?
After this election cycle, we won’t have SP to kick around anymore. Why? Because by then she’ll be completely irrelevant. Once the realization settles in that she’s not running for president, she will finally be ignored.
It’s obvious that she never had the intention. If she did, she’d be laying the groundwork, raising money (for her campaign, not herself) and building infrastructure. You know, the things Romney, Pawlenty and others have been doing since ’09. It takes a lot of time, effort and money to run a national campaign for president. People spend years just preparing for it. You can’t just jump in and hope to get swept up into a campaign with no money, organization or plan of action. Even someone as dim as SP knows that.
This so-called documentary is nothing more than an effort by SP and her proponents – a rapidly dwindling cadre – to pad their pockets with her lemming followers’ cash. Also a rapidly dwindling group.
Can’t wait!
Neither can I.
I’ve only heard great things about it from people who have seen previews of it. It really puts an perspective on liberalism that explains everything.
That’s enough to put such fear in liberals they’re wetting themselves.
I see their playing it in Orange County where those white people were crying on tv news when Obama won. Not surprised.
Those White people in Orange County?? Can’t argue logic, so you turn to race? There are a lot more people crying NOW after years with B.H.O. in office. Blacks and Hispanics, especially. Just ask their 20% unemployed.
Can’t wait to see the film! The Presidency is hers to win at this point.
The Presidency of what?
Gov. Sarah Palin is unlikely to run. But that won’t keep the mob-mentality Left from spending hundreds of millions of campaign dollars to smear her.
Other titles that were considered: “American Psycho”, “One Flew Over The Cookoo’s Nest” and “Dangerous Minds.”
Don’t forget the most fitting title of all: “The Grifter”.
This is a common tactic from the Left, but one we usually see played out in the streets with the idea being to so toxify the atmosphere that decent people give up the fight and go home just to get away from the awfulness of it all. The last few months of ugly and relentless pro-union protests in Wisconsin — though a failure for the left — were a textbook example of this. However, when it comes to Governor Palin, what we’re seeing is this tactic practiced by almost every so-called “objective” news outlet in America.
Dont you get it? You are a pawn of the right wing that cares about nothing but money- and the ability to give it to their kids without paying taxes. Keep your Medicare for when YOU get old, and your Social security- but give nothing back. The rich will get abortions any way they can while they continue to find ways to get poor and middle class people to vote against their own interests (health care) by finding villains (blacks, immigrants, gays) to distract you from what they really want ($$$$).
BTW I AM rich- but realize maybe some kids deserve the same break I had regardless of the circumstances they were born into.
So sad to see the fools that have been taken in by Palin.
Palin: Keeping government hands off my social security! what a maroon
From what I’ve been hearing, the filmmakers are pretty decent. And while I believe that Ms. Palin and her supporters are harmful to America and I have no interest in this film, it is also vitally important that it be easily accessible to anybody who does want to see it.
Because our side doesn’t censor.
Absolutely. Couldn’t agree more. People should be able to see as much as they want about a topic and make up their own minds. I think she’s a nitwit. That’s my right, but I have no right to stop other people from going to see this film if they so choose.
Actually the liberal side does censor. Even Jon Stewart’s whole shtick is to ridicule targeted members of the Right into silence.
@ SD
I’d be inclined to agree with you but for the fact that Palin has proved time and again that preparation, effort and organization are optional from her perspective. I don’t doubt her bus tour etc is designed to line her own pockets but that doesn’t preclude an eleventh hour, thrown together quasi-campaign that will provide Palin with even more time for honoring herself.
We liberals do ourselves a disservice by attempting to assign a rationale to the irrational acts of conservatives.
The Undefeated huh?… That’s like the Washington Generals having a documentary called “The Undefeated”
Present.
What we’re seeing at work here are the politics of personal destruction waged by the Left and their media allies in a way we haven’t since Clarence Thomas. However, unlike that reprehensible and racist campaign against another liberal apostate, the one against Palin has only intensified. For starters, she’s tougher and more resilient than any public figure in recent memory (probably due to her faith in God) and secondly, her effect on the 2010 mid-term elections can’t be over-stated. To paraphrase Winston Churchill, Palin did her best while the media did their worst. Unfortunately, and as is always the case with the media, there is no bottom when it comes to their behavior and the dog-whistles I’m hearing tell me they’re gearing up to create a Palin-Fury unlike anything we’ve seen so far — especially if the Governor should decide to run for president.
It will be good sport to read all the comments here this weekend. Funny how a pretty, slightly charming, average-ish mentality woman, unlikely ever get a majority vote anywhere, still sends hollywood types into conniption fits. When hollywood stops mouthfoaming against her, she’ll be toast. But that ain’t happening anytime soon…LOL. She’ll make over ten mill this year, I wonder if she’ll ever thank hollywood for their making it possible because of their unwavering spittle directed at her. Lucky Sarah!
Yep, but by giving such a fringe character such exhaustive coverage, it means no legitimate Republicans can squeeze in to get airtime. I wouldn’t crow too much about this as a Republican if I were you. There’s a method to the madness. Of course I’m a Democrat, so I don’t mind.
We’re too busy laughing our asses off at her to be frothing at the mouth. I for one would love to see her run – it would cement her place as the biggest laughing stock in American electoral history. But alas, she’s just trying to bilk her followers for more money once again before she fades away into obscurity in ’12.
I have to say, I agree, I too would like to see her run. It would be hysterical.
Well said.
No one I know gets emotional about her, especially since she neutered any political potential she may have had by quitting the governorship and with her stupidity in general. If anything, she’s simply an entertaining diversion.
pretty sure she lost the election…
She lost in 2008 and then quit being Governor.
That’s called ‘defeated’.
She accomplished every promise she promised she would fulfill to voters if elected Governor. Then — having fulfilled her promises (no one disputes she did) — she handed off the completed work to her successor.
Isn’t agreeing to the continued governing of the state one of the promises a Governor makes to their voters? She bailed on that promise.
two questions
1- is it free
2- is it a comedy
Interesting how, because it’s playing exclusively at AMC Theatres, that it won’t play in her home state of Alaska.
Amazing! I kept wondering what the big comedy event of the summer was going to be! (always comes out around July like Wedding Crashers)!!!
Enough, Sarah Palin.
Yay, I can’t wait to see this. Sarah Palin inspired me to be a better person.
You’d almost have to be…
The hatred for this woman is bewildering. Take a good hard look in the mirror my friends, for it is there that you will find the real imbecile. You believe everything you hear from the main stream media. Never questioning the accuracy of what they report or whether they have an agenda. Time and time again I ask my more liberal ‘friends’ to articulate what exactly Palin has done to raise their ire. What awful crime has she committed to deserve such hatred? They usually label her as “stupid” but they really can’t come up with any supportable examples. Often the argument is supported by caricatures compliments of Tina Fey. And yet somehow, Sarah Palin has achieved much more than all of her detractors. And thus, the title of the movie, “UNDEFEATED.” She has more “cojones”than most in politics and has withstood more slings and arrows than her male counterparts. She is the “Teflon Lady.”
Barack Obama’s notoriously thin skin could never handle the barrage she has consistently shrugged off. A quick google search will uncover an enormous stream of gaffes, lies and hypocritical statements made by this president but somehow the mainstream media protects him and refuses to highlight any of them. If the same magnifying glass was used on the president he would make Sarah Palin look like Albert Einstein.
Its not like she went around the globe apologizing for American success. It’s not like she stated there are 57 states or is clueless without a tele-prompter. It’s not like she attended a church led by a racist, anti-American for years. It’s not like she associated herself with a Chicago thug and engaged in very questionable property transactions. It’s not like she socialized with radical leftists like Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. It’s not like she is an adherent to Saul Alinsky’s “Rules For Radicals.” It’s not like she is overseeing a worsening economy and perhaps a double-dip recession due to her failed economic policies. It’s not like she has paralyzed domestic energy production by freezing drilling and imposing oppressive regulations on coal mining which has helped drive up energy costs. It’s not like she moved the country towards national socialism (i.e., fascism) by basically taking over General Motors. It’s not like she increased the deficit higher than all the preceding presidents combined with the false promise of creating “shovel-ready jobs” that didn’t exist and STILL don’t exist. It’s not like she confiscated taxpayer money and redistributed it to union thugs. It’s not like she has attempted to cover her mistakes by repeatedly creating false statistics and telling bold-face lies to the American people. It’s not like she never accomplished anything outside of academia. It’s not like she operates based on theory and lacks the knowledge and judgment grown from actual experience. It’s not like she seems pleased to oversee the decline of America. It’s not like it seems she plays more golf, takes more vacations and does more fund-raising than tending to the many crises that face the nation. It’s not like she repeatedly blames her predecessor for her own lack of judgment.
How much more damage does this man have to commit to earn the same vitriol you folks focus on Sarah Palin? You voted for him because you thought it would be ‘cool’ to have the first black president—that must have taken some deep thinking. But you never asked any hard questions and continue to ignore all the false claims and promises. So instead you focus your toxic rhetoric towards a woman who is far more qualified to lead than the empty suit you helped put in office.
If Sarah Palin runs I would eagerly vote for her over the disaster that is Barack Obama.
The Undefeated? She knows she lost right?
Only a simple mind would fail to look beyond the 2008 election for the meaning to the term “Undefeated.” The title is likely a allusion to the fact that regardless of how muc the media have tried to destroy her, Sarah Palin’s star only continues to rise even higher.
When Ronald Reagan was president, they tried to label him as an amiable dunce. They were wrong then and they are wrong now. Sarah Palin is indeed “The Undefeated” in terms of her message and prominance. Even now the media that failed to investigate Barack Obama’s questionable activities prior to the election are sifting through recently released emails during Palin’s term as Alaska’s governor in an obvious attempt to find something, anything that will succeed in their continued goal to destroy her.
It begs the question: If she is so stupid why the effort to destroy her character? What threat could she possibly represent? If what they say about her is true and she is the Republican nominee, surely the brilliant Barack Hussein Obama could easily defeat such a dimwit.
As Rush Limbaugh brilliantly points out, if logic serves, they are terrified of her. Otherwise, they would simply ignore her.
Two things:
1) Rush Limbaugh has never said anything “brilliantly”. “Drunkenly” or “stupidly”, perhaps, but not “brilliantly”.
2) Sarah Palin is a dimwit and she’s dangerous because there are many others out there even dumber than she is and, if her inanities aren’t constantly highlighted, we could still risk seeing her elected.
This is why she shouldn’t be ignored – the only way to combat misinformation is with INFORMATION. It’s not that we think she’s a legitimate candidate, as if this was just a question of skill — the problem is that her mouth-breathing base has a history of voting for incompetent leaders like Palin, despite all evidence of their inadequacy to hold any sort of public office (for more on this see Bush, W. George).
so name one “inanities” from all of the emails from her “stupid” unfinished term as governor? please name a” highlight” we need to be on the look out for?
also please show one example that Obama is qualified to be president as opposed to Bush or Palin?
your pathetic. all Obama has done is made MORE WAR, MORE DEBT AND MORE UNEMPLOYMENT yet YOU SAY Plain is unqualified? WTF???
“Sarah Palin is a dimwit and she’s dangerous because there are many others out there even dumber than she is and, if her inanities aren’t constantly highlighted, we could still risk seeing her elected.”
and obama is smart? more war, more, debt & more unemplyment…
after obama ANYONE CAN BE PREZ.
Do the math here folks…Her first book sold 2.8 million copies, her 2nd appx. 800,000. She lost the interest of two million people? Not exactly. Her first book was more about what happened in the historic disaster of choosing her as the VP running mate. Her next book was about her as a person and her thoughts/perspectives which shows LESS people are genuinely supporting her/interested in her.
To say that the people that dont’ like her will see is like saying the people that don’t like Obama would go to a propaganda/positive only skewed documentary about him. They wouldn’t.
This “documentary” will be the equivalent of Lifetime’s Intimate Portrait.
