Spike TV has renewed its highest-rated non-scripted series, Auction Hunters, for a third season with a 26-episode order. The series will continue to follow Allen Haff and Ton Jones as they traverse the country in search of treasure hidden in storage units. For the first time, the new season will include a live episode, in which Haff and Jones will open up a special pod live in primetime. The episode is slated to air in early 2012.

This show is extremely annoying since anytime they visit an expert to get info and a price on an item, they strong arm the expert into buying the item. Plus they admit at the start that the whole show is staged for the camera.
yes, other people’s misery makes great television!!!
That may be why there are so many shoows about cops and lawyers…
Can SPIKE please start developing some original scripted series already? Don’t they realize their audience (and an audience they don’t have yet) are wanting ‘em?
I liked the show until I began to suspect it was all staged/re-enacted/faked. Then a little research confirmed my suspicions. Why can’t they just do the real thing, instead of trying to deceive everyone?
Wow. Now that’s gripping entertainment. Is this what it’s come to?
The subject of this show could be interesting. I used to watch it until I got tired of the ton guy sounding like a 24 year old woman every time they find something “oh, my God”. And Haff constantly yelling in the background. Annoying.
