I’m told that motion picture talent agent Philip Grenz has landed at ICM after he was let go by WME. He had been talking to both Paradigm and ICM.

Good for him. Paradigm is a moronic place.
Agreed. With the exception of the New York office and a few agents in LA, they all seem to have drunk the Hollywood kool aid.
Glad he ended up at ICM. Too bad for WME – the old WMA guard is dropping like flies and don’t think for a second this won’t come back to haunt them. I know Grenz has clients leaving WME and following him, I’m just not positive which ones.
Yay! Love Grenz! Love ICM!
Phil is intelligent, well loved, and a gentleman. He will be a wonderful addition to ICM.
Philip is an incredible agent – articulate, caring, passionate and devoted to the success of his clients. This is a loss for WME.
ICM will still suck regardless of who’s hired
As an ICM client I’d be interested in knowing what talent he might be bringing with him.
Grentz bringing any clients with him? ICM and Paradigm are in dire need of MP talent. Good thing he didn’t land at Paradigm. Kolodny didn’t bring any talent with him so essentially he’s a covering agent. Their basement conference room full of covering agents are looking around saying, “why was this guy hired?” “Am I next to be shown the door?” Answer: Yes. The mess gets messier.
Great grab for ICM. Philip is a very classy guy and works incredibly hard for his clients.
Very good guy. Hope he finds success and happiness there.
Congrats to ICM! He’s a classy addition who works his butt off and a real team player.
THis is fantastic news! here is a guy who is loved by so many… he is loyal and kind didn’t fit in a shark tank! He has a heart and values my kind of person…very rare to find. Great job ICM! you’ll be getting more calls from my office to hire clients.
As all here say, without exception, good for Phil – bery giid guy. Congrats!
Grenz is one of the hardest-working agents I know. Always in the office late, reads everything, and has good relationships. Too bad WME let go of a great agent in order to promote 3 twits. ICM is lucky to have him.
Is he bringing any clients? Probably he will bring people that wme wants to drop.
More agents will be losing their gigs at WME.
He is a classy guy. He is going to wake up in about one week and say, OMG! How can I win here? The fish still stinks from the head! No one wants to be at ICM. It’s just a dirty job. I feel bad for they guy. He loved WME.
He could have done worse; could have ended up a manager at ROAR…
Or at Paradigm…total bottom of the barrell
Grenz is an awesome guy, so smart and well-read and passionate about what he does. WME was stupid to let him go. He has definitely classed up the ICM talent department.
