• CBS was looking for the new Lost with this remake and only got a mediocre show.
  Lost was an awesome show. I loved it so much. The plot was excellent and it was one the most USA shows watched abroad.
  I watched H50 because of DDKim but I dumped the show after 6 episodes. Bad story each week and mediocre acting. Castle Finale beat it. No surprise there.
  I won’t be watching again just because another Lost actor will be there. Actors don’t make shows.

  • Okay, so which is it? One of your stated reasons for dumping Hawaii Five-0 was the mediocre acting and then you say the addition of Terry O’Quinn won’t help because “…actors don’t make show” (scratches head).

    I kinda like Hawaii Five-0 and the addition of Terry O’Quinn gives me another reason to tune in. I’m not sure why the guy hasn’t been offered a show of his own. He was an integral to the success of “Lost.” I miss that group of actors. Watching an episode of “Lost” was always like going to the movies for free.

    • Because even if Terry is a good actor, he is not good enough to save this show with the terrible actor they put as the lead in. For a show to work, all the cast must be good. Scott is the only one doing some good acting , but he is not enough to save the show. Adding Terry won’t help either.

    • One show can survive if all the cast is good. Not just one actor. The casting in this show is mediocre, only Scott is doing a good job, but one actor is not enough. Adding Terry in some episodes won’t improve the show either. All actorsd must work, and the new McGarret is a 0.

• Love Terry O and actually loved Harsh Realm too! Max Martini was in that too and he rocked the Castle finale! He also guested on H-5-oh. Love those two actors! Give them a show!!

• Terry’s a pro. Good to see him working. Love everything he does. Ultimate character actor. The real Stepfather. Check out his small, but pivotal scene in Cimino’s Heaven’s Gate.

• He was good in Lost. But we all know how freaking good Lost was.
  Hawaii 50 is just plain ridiculous. He should had joined Terra Nova, NCSI or TGW. Or one of the HBO shows . Never this crappy show.
