UPFRONTS 2013: TV Spinoffs’ Almost Perfect Year 
TruTV’s Hardcore Pawn launched its fourth season last night with an average of 2.1 million viewers for its two original episodes (1.9 million for the first and 2.2 million for the second). And today, the network renewed the show for a fifth season, noting Hardcore Pawn‘s solid demo numbers: 816,000 for the first episode and over 1 million for the second. The 13-episode Season 5 will premiere later this year. Zodiak USA is producing the series with Natalka Znak, Claire O’Donohoe, Mike Gamson and Richard Dominick.

I believe your issues go a lot deeper then you hating a show. Les needs to step up & control his kids & stop all the constant fighting back & forth. He needs to stop being their father the minute he steps in to that store & be the boss.

Les is a greaseball and his two spoiled brats, Seth and Ashly, like feuding 12 year olds. I watch Pawn Stars on the history channel, and the owners and clients are respectful to each other. I can’t imagine living in a place like Detroit where everyone calls each other mother f***er and threatens to kill each other in such a casual manner.
His kids are extremely spoiled & some of those customers are screwed in the head. The ones that cut in to line or say that they will give them the amount they want or they won’t leave until they get that amount. I’m not a Pawn Stars fan, because I love drama & hate it or like it Hardcore Pawn delivers. I don’t care what’s fake or what isn’t. I find it entertaining & that’s all I care about.

I used to believe exactly what you said, but I saw some of the very early episodes & I see why Ashley is the way she is. She didn’t want to argue & was very mellow & Seth ran right over the top of her. They’re fighting has gotten out of hand & Les needs to do something & not just keep saying he will.
I am apauled at the way that Seth speaks to his father. If it wasn’t for Les and his hard work through the years, Loud mouth Seth wouldn’t have a job in the first place. I think the next time spoiled rotten children disrespect their dad as badly as Seth and Ashley do, I think Les should kick them to the curb, and when they start showing a little gratitude or with all the people that are unemployed, Les will not have to look very hard or long for an employee that values their job, and easily replace Seth and his spoiled sister. That explains definitively what you’re watching. Tru-TV was much better as Court TV.
Of course, some of the situations in the network’s shows are staged, in fact, probably all of them are. That goes not just for Hardcore Pawn, but the Lizard Lick Towing dudes and the Operation Repo dudes.
As far as Hardcore Pawn, Seth has to be gay.. he has to be to act like he does (not to mention the fact that he never mentions girls or a girlfriend and appears to be very uncomfortable around women customers, although he’s perfectly at ease with men customers. His sister seems to be jealous of his ability to deal with men customers and she does acknowledge her kids occasionally.
Les ought to just retire and let his bratty kids run the show. When it goes under (and it will), he’ll be collecting royalties anyway, so it won matter.
Hardcore Pawn is yet one more reason to never visit Detroit and Southfield, Michican.

I’ve stopped waching this show for a couple reasons. #1 rick the dick up here thinks detroit is so bad and prolly has never been to detroit. Well detroit isn’t all that bad there are good parts to the d, and that’s why I’ve stopped watching this show. People a lot of the customers (or so called ) are actors. People in detroit are not that ignorant. Yes we do have some that may act out of control but I’ve never seen anything like they write for hardcore pawn. Makes me sick to think this business is in the city, and brring it down at the same time. Between seth ashley and les, they all play some acting part. Remember believe half of what you hear and all of what you see.
