• The real star of these films is the SECOND UNIT DIRECTOR. I’m nowhere near kidding. Their hard work and imagination is what brings the kids in from the heat every summer. Thanks, guys. You’re the unsung heroes.

• People wanted to see Vin and the other guy back again…as tough and difficult, self absorbed, hyper sensitive and honestly not very bright as he may be, kudos to Universal and Donna for getting him baack in the fold and rolling the dice after the third installment (casting a non-star in a 100 million movie) almost killed the franchise. Justiin lin also has become a vastly improved director, FF3 looked aweeful and lin wwas over his head…FF4 was better but still poorly directed, but 5 he came into his own, the action, the performaces, were really solid…and its no suprise Uni gave Chris Morgan a deal there when NO writers/producers are getting deals…hes done great by that franchise and hopefully they’ll keep him aboard to produce in the future if he’s not writting because he’s become a vital componant to the success of those films and eveeryone involved with the production knows it.

• I was really surprised by this film. I thought that most of the dialogue was actually quite funny for a non comedy. And, the action scenes, obviously, were good. I liked the first movie but not the next three. I really liked Fast Five, and it’s my favorite in the franchise. Kudos to Justin and the second unit directors.

• I love them-fast cars Hot ladies, great driving, and simple plot is what i wat in a fun filled action movie. If I want me;odrama I’d watch a chick flick(not).

• i wonder how many of you, like universal, are american. memorial day 2013 is on may 27th, not the 24th. i knew that they were wrong and i’m in the UK. universal and anyone else in the US who missed something so blatantly and morally reprehensible should give themselves a slap. american citizens died protecting this world, the least that universal can do is pick up a calender and check, not pick a date out of thin air.
