For a second straight season, the producers of NBC’s Chuck have recruited the female star of an iconic action sci-fi movie for a major recurring role. Last year it was The Terminator’s Linda Hamilton, this year it’s The Matrix‘s Carrie-Anne Moss. She will play a love interest/foil for John Casey (Adam Baldwin). More from our sister site TVLine, which has the story. Moss most recently starred in Lifetime’s Michael Sardo pilot, which is not going forward.

this being the final season is gonna suck! but man i hope it will be the best one.
As long as she wears a black PVC suit.
Glad to see Miss Moss getting some steady work. Always enjoy her and don’t see enough chances to let her show what she can do. Tongue in cheek comedy seems right up her alley.
I’m shocked –
to learn that this piece of shit show is still on the air?! Good thing they cancelled Friday Night Lights and Battlestar!
Season 3 was a stretch and way too corny. Season 4 was just bad.
Season 5 is going to be as entertaining as seeing paint dry.
How dare you lump Chuck and Battlestar with the gift that is Friday Night Lights.
‘Chuck’ has been the little show that could. Single handed, they have raised the bar for guest star casting.
Chuck, Sarah, Morgan and Casey have evolved and grown. Some of the scenes and set-ups have been laugh out loud hilarious! Drama, comedy, action, hot men and women, loads of geek and nerd in-jokes… ‘Chuck’ has the lot.
