Here is a first look at Lily Collins in the untitled Snow White film that Relativity Media has mounted for March 16, 2012 release, with Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer also starring for director Tarsem Singh. That puts Relativity Media in the lead against the rival Snow White and The Hunstman, which stars Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth.

she looks beautiful!!!!!! i really like her alot
Both sound terrible i hope they both flop. Lets make something NEW hollywood!
The two Snow White scripts headed for production are polar opposites of each other. The take pictured above is a retelling of the story we already know. Yay. The Huntsman script is brand new and there’s nothing “fairy tale” about it.
My interest lies with the Huntsman; yours should too.
The Huntsman lists eight dwarves: Caesar, Tiberius, Constantine, Claudius, Hadrian, Nero, Trajan and Gus. And the huntsman himself seems to be little more than a slave-driver who turns on his boss when he realizes his boss killed his wife. No offense, but my interest doesn’t lay or lie with either of these two projects. (Frankly, I’m still trying to wash the taste of “Red Riding Hood” out of my mind.)
Riiiight. The Huntsman with the dreary, one note mope, Kristin Stewart.
NO thank you.
“…My interest lies with the Huntsman; yours should too…”
No doubt written by studio personnel… always telling US what WE want to see!
Reader X. You write in a style very reminiscent of a certain Universal executive….who wants to guess which one?
I’m interested in the Snow White movie with Armie Hammer. jsyk.
“The Huntsman script is brand new”….yeah, right. Stewart in the middle of a love triangle…that’s soooo brand new. Twilight re-hash, more like.
And Universal’s own description of Snow White being “trained in war techniques”, along with other plot leaks, sounds like Universal is trying to create a bastard child heroine by mixing a lot of the Hunger Games heroine and some Karate Kid, get-trained-by-the master, schtick thrown in for good measure. Yes, VERY brand new.
Besides, it’s not like Burton re-invented the wheel with his Alice remake. It was visionary from an artistic standpoint, but the main elements were all the same. That’s proof that people aren’t opposed to the familiar, if it’s done really well.
She looks like a wax dummy. Way too much retouching in this picture.
I agree…VERY “CGI-y”…I HATE to think of what they’ve made Julia look like.
Everyone, slowly back away from the turquoise…
didn’t realize Bert had a Snow White costume
well done sir
The Huntsman script aint that great. An edgy retelling…oh how original. Tarsem’s where its at!
Wow she looks the part. Stewart not at all
Amen!!
LOVE this dress!!
This Lily chick is pretty but this get up is straight up UGLY and cheap looking.
That dress(costume) looks like a jacked up quinciera nightmare :S
The poofy sleeved(fashion trend that should DIE), sickly turquoise, fluffy conception is BAD BAD BAD! You are making me regret siding with your Snow White project Tarsem/Julia Roberts…
“My interest lies with the Huntsman; yours should too”
Just what America wants from Hollywood – fascist flackery.
I think I’ll make up *my own mind* about what I want to see.
It isn’t like the studios don’t own every broadcast network and 90% of the cable networks.
That is more than enough to force-feed us whatever ostensibly “edgy” pap/puke the studios squeeze out.
@reader x, well thank god you are here to tell us where our interests should lie.
The costuming, hairstyle and make-up makes Lily look like a pale Frida Kahlo who decided to nix the uni-brow area.
Lily is pretty but damn this picture does not help this Snow white project imo,…argh Tarsem what is going ON!? You are making it hard for me to dig your Snow white project!!! I want to, but damn this Snow white look is just uber-tacky/cheesy.
The eyebrows frighten me.
“As yours should”??? Uh reader x are you telling us what we should watch? Who the F r u? I’m watching the julia roberts one but everyone can watch what they want.
All that has to be said is wait till you see what the other movie shows tomorrow . .Everyone has been warned
Lily’s SNOW WHITE looks amazing. It will be a four quadrant classic funny, exciting, adventure with great action as Tarsem is a genius. Snow and Huntsman will be like RED RIDING HOOD. Too dark and no one will go. They should rethink things at Universal.
She is so f’ing pretty.
Quinceañera White coming to you in 2012. Lame-o.
Jesus Christ, those Chewbacca eye brows…
Beside being overly turquoise, this looks actually pretty good. BTW Reader X, do you work for Universal Picture by any chance because you sound like an advertiser.
Dear Reader X,
the original “faerie tales” were for adults, and very dark indeed, Disney “magicked” everything up, frankly I’m more excited to see the spin on the classic than something wildly lame with a two bit actress like Stewart, you should be too.
This isn’t exactly like the Alice Wonderland’s first picture that featured Johnny Depp. That picture alone got me to want to see the film, espcially knowing that Tim Burton was at the helm. This picture here doesn’t say anything about the Snow White movie. Guess I’ll have to wait for the actual trailer but so far, I’m not impressed.
At first glance, I thought “Someone trimmed Frida Kahlo’s unibrow…”
That style of dress and photography is very high socialist realism. This should be a great hit in China and Russia.
It’ll be days of yore…
I guess ANYONE with the “right” connections can “act” in a movie.
“The Death Star”, find some new talent!
Is she’s nicer than reported on last summer’s set?
