Debby Ryan had already been groomed to follow in the footsteps of such Disney Channel stars as Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. Now the Suite Life on Deck regular has been given a big vote of confidence for her own series, Jessie, which is slated to launch in the fall. I hear the Disney Channel brass were so happy with the first batch of episodes they saw, they have increased the order to the series from 13 to 20 episodes before the show has hit the air. Additionally, the pilot for Jessie, in which Ryan plays a teen from rural Texas who moves to New York and becomes a nanny to a wealthy family with four kids, was one of Disney Channel’s highest-testing ever. Co-starring on the series as the kids in Jessie’s care are Karan Brar from Seattle, Skai Jackson and 13-year-old Peyton List from New York (not to be confused with the Mad Men actress of the same name) and Cameron Boyce from L.A. who were cast through a nationwide search, as well as Kevin Chamberlin. Jessie is created/executive produced by Pam Eells, the creative force behind hits The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and The Suite Life on Deck.

With all due respect to the other great actresses mentioned in the article, Debby should be the model that they (Disney) look to when “grooming” potential talent. Debby Ryan is a tremendous talent, and her positive energy is off the charts.
Bridget Mendler’s show is terrible. Awful. Just awful. Good Luck Charlie and ANT Farm are both equally horrible. However, the Suite Life is the worst show in the history of the Disney Channel. Largely because of Brenda Song. Less because of Debby Ryan. The Jonas Brothers would be the second worst and that show got cancelled. It’s very difficult to get your show cancelled when it’s on the Disney Channel. I’m thinking that Debbie Ryan has been around for a little too long to suddenly become a break-out star. Shake it Up is Disney’s best show. Disney needs to market Bella Thorne and Zendaya, who are both young enough to be featured for another four years. Not Debby. As Disney stars go, Debby is already a little long in the tooth.
Are you crazy?? Zack and Cody was the best show ever with the twins and Debby. Shake It Up is so stupid I hate Bella Thorne. She thinks she is the best and Disney has to stop that show. When it appeared, Disney channel fell down. Congrats Jessie, I’m waiting the program so stupid shows Shake It Up and ANT Farm can’t make Disney down anymore. CECE AND ROCKY IS STUPID!!!!! “Shake It Up” is probably the only Disney show that comes off as a sitcom that parents can actually enjoy while their kids watch.
Another show I will allow my children to watch. Disney does it all first rate

Truth be told: Disney shows haven’t been enjoyable since they’ve added a laughtrack (minus That’s So Raven). Even Stevens, Lizzie McGuire, and Phil of the Future were sophisticated single-camera shows for kids!

Wow u guys who are haten on shake it up the show with the twins and stuff those were/are good shows and its not up to you that they put/or take off shows and yes I do agree they should have never took off other favorite shows like phil of the future life with Derek and all those good shows but owell deel with it and Debby Is a good person so leave her alone!!!thanx
