The four-part thriller The Take, from ITV Studios Global Entertainment, also stars Brian Cox, Kierston Wareing, Charlotte Riley and Shaun Evans. It will air sometime in the fall alongside another original effort, the documentary Method to the Madness of Jerry Lewis, which was previously announced.

Just saw this recently and was blown away!!! Tom Hardy will probably get nominated and win for something.
Why exactly does the world need yet another version of Moby Dick? Do they truly believe this will draw in viewers.
If Gillian Anderson is in it I’ll watch.
I like Bill Hurt but Patrick Stewart rivaled Gregory Peck’s Captain Ahab.
Whoever did the research on this should be shot. One of the main characters of the book and movie the Pequod is the wrong kind of ship. Whaling ships were barks-square rigged, with 5 boat davits–not schooners. It’s so obvious and fundemental that it’s a big distraction.
