Mercedes Masohn (Chuck) has landed the female lead oposite Geoff Stults and Michael Clarke Duncan in The Finder, the upcoming Bones spinoff series, which is slated to launch on Fox in January. She will play Deputy US Marshall Isabel Zambada, a focused, nuclear-powered cop on the rise – who is a brilliant politician using a career in law enforcement to climb to the top of the heap in life. Also cast in the new series 16-year-old newcomer Maddie Hasson as Willa, a second generation criminal who helps Walter (Stults) and Leo (Duncan) in their investigations. In the original back-door pilot for Finder, there was only one female lead played by Saffron Burrows who did not continue on the series. Masohn, repped by Greene & Assoc. and Luber Roklin, recently co-starred in Alan Ball’s HBO pilot All Signs of Death will next be seen in the Screen Gems feature film Terminal.

Just reading what the show is going to be about has me excited.
I don’t get the ‘nuclear powered’ bit. Is she supposed to be a cyborg, a 6-million-dollar-woman or something? Or is she a finder of missing nuclear materials?
*Yawn* Nothing to see here, besides some angry Bones fans.
Moving on.
well said.
Spot on comment.
The acting of Duncan and Burrows in the “pilot” was only eclipsed by the awful dialogue. If Emily wasn’t pregnant this pilot would have been DOA.
Should have kept Burrows. Great comedic timing but plays a good hardass as well. Loved her on Boston Legal. I like BONES but I probably won’t watch this thing. You’re right: The pilot’s dialogue and writing was AWFUL.
What’s this called? “Cartilage”?
A “nuclear-powered” cop? (Stewie’s voice) I suppose this show is an action-packed thrill ride? Hmm? It will leave us at the edge of our seats? Hmm? The main character trapped in a world she didn’t make? Friends become enemies, enemies become friends? Stories unfold that make us not believe our eyes? Hmm? Hmm? Yeah, good luck with that, man.
dude, c’mon it’s Mercedes Masohn. Look at her. I’d watch anything with her in it.
This’d be the third Chuck alum in this show already, and it hasn’t even started.
