Peter Jackson might have bailed on Comic-Con because it was too early for his double feature, but that doesn’t mean he can’t stir up some advance interest among the geek set for a return to Middle Earth. Here’s a look at his phalanx of dwarves for The Hobbit.

It looks like the supermarket line in Topanga.
Too funny!
How to Train your Dragon meets the Klingons from Deep Space Nine. Mind you, the guy in the middle is hot – he’s Thorin, played by Richard Armitage.
To be fair, one of them has a touch of Battlefield Earth.
Richard Amitage is the one in the middle? The fat one with red hair???
if you click on the picture and open it in another window, Thorin is actually in the middle of the group.
Wow…that’s exciting…guess we are lining up the merchandising deals cause every kid wants really ugly action figures. Better get your order in at WalMart now and avoid the rush.
Straight out of Dungeons & Dragons. Not like I would know anything about that…
I bet all those guys get more dates than I do.
Actually the only hot looking guy in this bunch is Aidan Turner-the one at the the very right hand end who play Kili. He’s the only good looking dwarf in the bunch. Richard Armitage? hot? please! he’s alright but he doesn’t have anything on Kili.
To be honest, Richard is actually very attractive. Perhaps it’s the accent, or perhaps it’s the fact that he’s a bit more manly, and less of a child, but believe me, there are very many followers that consider themselves a part of the “Armitage Army.” He’s also a very respectable, amazing actor who has deserved a role like this for a very long time.
Every actor has their fair share of followers who only follow the actor because of their looks– but I believe I can say with confidence that Richard has more followers who are not only attracted to his looks, but his ability to act. I can also say that Richard’s acting, compared to that of Aidan, is stronger. Richard gives a character a life that most actors today can’t, which truly makes him amazing.
But what do I know really. I only study/write films.
Oh man, kudos to the costumers. They’re fantastic!
PERFECT – a total of SEVEN dwarfs! Which one is Doc?
lol, love it!
Not sure this photo excites me about The Hobbit! LOL!
