UPDATE: Readers alerted us that the Wonder Woman clips have been disabled, which is not surprising as their use probably constituted copyright violation and got attorneys for producer Warner Bros. TV on the case.
PREVIOUS: Had it been picked up to series, NBC’s Wonder Woman pilot would’ve been one of the main attractions at Comic-Con. Instead, scenes from the pilot, created by David E. Kelley, are making the rounds online at the same time the convention is underway in San Diego. While the leaked footage is not from the delivered pilot and is missing special effects and other post-production touches, it gives an idea why NBC passed on the project. Below is the opening chase sequence, whose filming closed portions of Hollywood Blvd., and a boardroom scene, featuring star Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman’s alter ego Diana Prince.

Wow. Hire the right writer and director next time.
Great, now my monitor smells a lot like stinky cheese.
Ick.
Um. No. David E., you were really grasping.
TITS?!?! Wow, did they just outsource their writers from Cartoon Network? The writing sounded more like a Saturday morning show than an actual drama on a broadcast network. Peacock made the right choice.
Please come out of the woodwork, you trolls, who thought that script was good!
The ONLY TROLL at WB that thought this script was good is PETER ROTH.
So, why did NBC pass?!?!?
This looks like total garbage. What a waste of time and money.
Actually looks pretty decent. Too bad.
Why does the clip at the bottom look like it was shot in 1978? I mean that in a really bad way. It looked retro in a really cheesy way. That was absolutely abysmal.
Palicki owes her career to NBC…if they hadn’t killed the show, the show might have killed her career.
The fight sequence choreography and execution was FREAKING AWESOME. But the rest was utter garbage. Bad writing, bad casting, bad wardrobe, bad everything. YIKES!
That was so overplayed and over the top, it’s not funny. Is that Cary Elwes in the boardroom scene? Shame on you Cary Elwes, your talent should be given elsewhere.
I think the whole thing looks just fine – it’s just that the very concept of a hot girl running around in skimpy clothes dealing with bad guys is so incredibly cheesy, so hopelessly outdated that it almost feels cringeworthy.
This isn’t 1995 anymore. We’re not watching Sliders, Relic Hunter and Seven Days, we’re watching True Blood, Dexter, Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy.
I just hope there’ll be a chance to watch all those failed pilots one day.
Tha Cape 2.0
Poor Carey Elwes.
Man, Kelley really took the money and ran, didn’t he?
Well, the boardroom scene shows David E. Kelley is completely wrong for something like this.
But otherwise, the action scenes though still rough cuts look all right. There has certainly been worse things on broadcast TV these last few seasons.
Differnt actress wouldn’t have hurt either.
Wow they tried to sell a Wonder Woman pilot where she say’s tits and ass? That was smart.
That threw me off too, especially considering kids are the only demographic who might get a kick out of this type of show.
Gosh that was boring. I wanted to see and laugh how bad it was but it was awfully boring. It’s not that time when you see something so bad that it turns out like a comedy. That was time when it’s so bad that you can’t even sit throw it.
We all have to thank NBC.
What???
I actually think the opening Hollywood Blvd. sequence and the warehouse fight sequence where WW battles the thugs looks fun – I like the mix of real-life stunts and CGI to “heighten” the action.
Too bad the pilot didn’t get picked up – maybe another network will give it a go? It looks like it could have shaped up to a high-calorie guilty pleasure.
They did it for the lulz
Does this mean they DID complete the pilot and That Warners has a ready to air version?
If so, why haven’t they put this up on itunes are a WarnerArchive DVD title and get this out legally so fans don’t have to try and find a bootleg, even a complete version.
i wish it got picked up!
Ohmylawd, that was just awful.
she is hot and action scenes are well constructed (for TV) but the writing…
