“former athlete.” In what sport? Badminton?
Dear Hollywood writers,
It is possible to be black and NOT be a former athlete. You can just make him like a grad student or a construction worker or anything really. We haven’t established any hard and fast rules at the Black People meetings so knock yourselves out.
Love it!
Um…he did go out for the role, and that very same role could have gone to some gorgeous athletic white man, so what exactly is your point? Work is work in a career field that makes no guarantee’s to anyone. Work in Hollywood is few and far between, so instead of standing on your black soap box, climb down and pay a little more attention. BY the way… I’m Black or to be politically correct African-American.
Stop turning everything into a racial debate, and lets start living our lives.
