AMC debuted a first-look video from the upcoming second season of hit zombie drama The Walking Dead tonight during the fourth season premiere of Breaking Bad. It’s a scene involving a man, 2 zombies and a rock – you can probably guess the outcome.

I wouldn’t really call that a “scene”… pretty dumb and pointless. Why did they even show that?
I really liked how this teaser offered some great insight and clues to what the 2nd season is actually about.
On second thought… No, I actually didn’t like it at all…
Since when to teasers offer great insights and clues? It’s a TEASER! And this one is awesome.
I do like how the guy can throw the really heavy rock with pin-point accuracy after we see him barely being able to hold it in his hands.
Enjoyed Season 1 and looking forward to the next, but what the hell was that? ha. The way he threw the rock at the 2nd zombie, and dropped him, felt like a comedy parody.
WHAT DID YOU MEAN, THIS IS FROM “THE WALKING DEAD–SEASON TWO”?! I thought this was the opening of Fox News Sarah Palin Show.
Love the show, but the sound effects still sound comical.
Great scene. Mainly because no one is talking.
Hopefully the new writers room can actually write and not just lift clunky dialogue from comic books.
There is no writer’s room this season. Darabont wanted to write every episode — based on the trailer, the results speak for themselves.
Yes there’s a writer’s room, I’ve seen it. Full of actual writers, too!
Well, good to know that Frank & Co. have learned their lesson from what became a quickly repetitive and boring Season One: it was a hit so don’t change a thing. Except maybe the lead’s haircut.
By the way: if zombies are so freakin’ easy to kill, where’s the threat? I mean, a rock? Really? Step out – rather slowly, I might add – from behind a tree and bash them in the head? That’s all it takes? Oooh, scary.
riveting television! man bash zombie w/ rock! emmy!
OH I CAN’T WAAAAAAIT! Best show on TV right now.
I have no problem with the cautious ‘step out’ – who wouldn’t want to time it just right? Shows presence of mind. But the ‘rock’! You’d have to be a superhero to wield a rock that size so effortlessly (as in pummeling)!
But this scene is disappointing for a promo…nothing here to raise it above the rank and file zombie creatiions of the past. Unless they have some master plan…to build on it maybe. I can’t imagine, given the names Darabont and Kirkman, that there isn’t a purpose here that maybe I can’t see…
I wouldn’t call that a teaser. More of a ‘reminder.’ Can’t wait for season two.
Great looking cinematography. Obviously shot on film rather than digitally.
Meh. I like my zombies motivated and fast moving.
