• Anthony is terrific. Guys like Sickler etc., try to be him and it comes off this way. AJ is a star. He’s got it. There are hundreds in the middle that we see at clubs over and over and over but these are simply middle guys not stars. AJ is growing, his looks and comedy are Dane Cook, great. Congrats. Glad to have him on board. FYI, Sickler is just by chance a name I could list 20 other pieces of wall paper now just like him. Just making a point. Comedy is not about jokes. It’s about stories with attitude. Original attitude, not tough guy with beer I’m telling jokey attitude. So many of these muddle guys don’t get why they are stuck. I happy to tell them am AJ is a terrific example.

  • I’m sure Anthony would be thrilled to know that you called his comedy “Dane Cook great”. You obviously don’t know comedians…Aside from Carlos Mencia, there really is no other comic that you could have compared AJ to that would have been a bigger insult. Dane Cook is the scourge of the comedy scene, and that’s not just my opinion. Listen, sometime, to just a couple of podcasts by really talented comedians (Joe Rogan, Bill Burr’s Monday Morn. Podcast, WTF w/ Marc Maron) or read a couple of books by/about comedians (Satiristas by Paul Provenza, is a great example) and you will inevitably hear Dane Cook bashed by his fellow comics. Even Carrot Top and Gallagher get more respect than Dane Cook. I’m insulted on Anthony’s behalf.
    You should change your name from “Comedy Central Exec” to “I don’t Know Comedy”.

• This guy is hilarious, hopefully CC wont rape his creativity and cancel after one season. It seems to be their thing…find an up and coming comedian, give him a show to exploit him, then boot him when they dont get Dave Chappelle numbers. Not every stand up comic can do a tv show.

• Danny my boy – why is it when a comic becomes hugely successful all the cool kids who loved him no longer do. Let’s take itty bitty Jay Leno. If you were around the first five years he was in LA everyone couldn’t kiss his ass enough eenough. He was the man. Im sure you are the same Dan that had your head belted to Nick Thune’s anus until he broke thru. Face it pal. You don’t know comedy. Go hang with Henie Garafolo or Dennis Wain and Shultz Showaltet
