LOS ANGELES (August 4, 2011) __ Twentieth Century Fox (TCF) has named former Sony Pictures marketing executive Zachary Eller as Senior Vice President, Partnership Marketing and Promotions, it was announced today by Chief Marketing Officer, Oren Aviv, and Chief Creative Officer, Tony Sella, to whom Eller will report.

As head of partnerships and promotions, Eller will oversee all of the studio’s domestic activities in this area.

“As we continue to build and shape our domestic marketing team for the future, Zac is an essential part of that evolution,” said Sella and Aviv. “We are lucky to have such a proven and strategic executive overseeing our promotions team.”

A ten-year veteran of Sony Pictures Entertainment, Eller most recently served as Vice President, International Promotions and Licensing, where he was responsible for overseeing marketing partnerships, promotions, licensing, and consumer products in more than 70 territories worldwide. Under his leadership, Sony formed integral partnerships with such major brands as Coke, Ford, 7-Eleven, Carrefour, Visa and McDonalds; media organizations News Corporation and Viacom; and digital partners LG, Google, Vodafone and T-Mobile.

Prior to that, Eller was Executive Director, Media and Promotions for Sony Pictures Digital. In that role, he managed the digital media and partnerships for Sony’s theatrical, home entertainment and television properties, including the launch of the studio’s first mobile content and gaming marketing campaigns.

Before Sony, Eller was Director, International Promotions at Warner Bros. Pictures, where he spearheaded global cross-promotional campaigns with notable corporations such as Heineken, Pepsi, Samsung, Mitsubishi and L’Oreal. He began his marketing career at IMAX Films.
