Isn’t that what it already was?
They set it like a year ago.
Congratulations Columbia pictures!!!
With not a bit of snark intended or evilness…. I think the first Ghost Rider was one of the worst pieces of crap I have ever seen. And I’ve seen some crap. Worse than Green Lantern, worse than Electra, worse than Sex and the City 2.
It’s no surprise at all that you’ll be making a sequel.
Although it is supposedly one of those ones that sort of straddles the line, Crank directors Neveldine/Taylor stressed that they didn’t really give a shit about following the original. Comic-Con footage was apparently crazy. Can’t wait.
Really hope Sony gives the pic the push it deserves. Neveldine and Taylor need a hit so they can move up the blockbuster ladder. My only worry is that the film might be tarnished by its predecessor. This could be one of the cooler comic book movies to date.
Um… why?
You’re joking. This can’t possibly be a true story. Worst idea ever, and that’s a tough title to win in this town.
Let’s see…Nic Cage…3D…an unnecessary sequel equals…three strikes and Sony is out.
Is this film absolutely necessary? Nick needs to pay off his taxes, I guess.
He’s gotta do somethin’ to pay for those $1 million dinosaur heads. I’m sure GR2 will add to his list of recent classics that he will be remembered for like DRIVE ANGRY 3D, SEASON OF THE WITCH, THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE, and that wonderful sequel literally no one saw or cared about, BAD LIEUTENANT: PORT OF CALL-NEW ORLEANS. Love that last title.
Nic Cage my friend, you are on your way to being one of the most over-exposed awful sell-outs in history. Keep up the good work, and keep piling on those Razzie awards – maybe you’ll someday beat 2007 where you got 3 nominations. I’m sure some day you will actually win.
Another sad career down the tubes after winning an Oscar. You could’a been somebody, you could’a been a contender. But now you’re nothing, a has been, all washed up for going for the short end money (although I’m sure there was lots of it).
Bad Lt 2 was actually a decent movie. GR2 maybe not so bad as long as Eva Mendes isn’t in it.
Good Luck, you will certainty need it.
Don’t they realize that by releasing it so early in the year the critic’s associations and Academy voters will have hard time remembering it come awards season?
I’m kinda interested because I LOVE Crank: High Voltage…but why are they releasing it on almost the exact same date as Drive Angry, a similarly themed, R-rated, comic-book style actioner starring Cage? That movie bombed, hard.
I want to bid on the wig Nicolas Cage will sport in this movie.
Bad Lieutenant 2 was actually quite critically acclaimed and ended up making back it’s modest budget. I would consider it one of Cage’s better movies as well as a great film by Werner Herzog. Maybe you should do a lottle research a film becore you start putting it together with other films.
Why?
Cage needs another Leaving Las Vegas
Another Ghost Rider movie, this time in 3D and with less than half the budget of the first???? Where can I pre-order my tickets?
ha u are special. He is a star more than 3 decades what did u do?
