‘Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2′ Crosses $1B
Warner Bros announced today that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is now the highest-grossing WB film of all time internationally after just 19 days of release. Ranking #1 internationally for the third consecutive weekend, confirmed weekend grosses came in slightly ahead of projections on Sunday at $66.6M with 7.4M admissions from 14,500 screens in 60 territories, representing an overall drop of -47% from the previous weekend. HAHA only 88 in the UK?
You’re totally clueless aren’t you – it’s done that in 2 weeks in the UK – only 3 Potter movies made 88mil or more in the UK in their entire runs.. Order of the Phoenix is the biggest grosser in the UK at 101mil – and DH P2 will easily pass that.
Film 5 and 6 were terrible… I don’t care how many records this thing breaks. It’s a broken franchise. Terribly flawed films. Poor storytelling. Just crap.
But I’m sure WB will find a way to remake it in a few years time…
