Paramount Pictures and Indian Paintbrush have released a trailer for Like Crazy, one of the hot titles that came out of the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. The Drake Doremus-directed film stars Anton Yelchin, Felicity Jones and Jennifer Lawrence, it won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance and good things are happening for all the participants. We’ll soon discover whether that festival acclaim translates to box office when the film opens Oct. 28 in awards season.

I like all these actors and I’m sure there’s some merit to this film as it seems to have won some awards, but, um, this is one of the worst trailers I’ve ever seen. And the fact that Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t show up till the final shot leads me to believe her part is way smaller than her billing.
Meanwhile, how old is Anton Yelchin, and he already has a receding hairline?
I couldn’t disagree more–aside from the Yelchin comment.
Yawn.
Insufferable.
Absolutely beautiful trailer
Dude, I don’t know what you’re talking about, I thought this was one of the best trailers I’ve seen in a long time. I love the use of the song. The shooting looks great, the acting looks great, what a step up in production value from Drake’s Douchbag – which I thought was a good movie, too. I can’t wait to see it!
Wow, how melancholy can we get? Talk about one of the sappiest and emo trailers I’ve seen this year. Definitely going to pass on this one.
The fact that you called this an “emo” trailer means you will never leave your mom’s house.
it’s a beautiful little movie, and the trailer accurately sells the tone/style of the picture. where you find it meloncholy and sappy, others would find it romantic.
that’s why they make vanilla and chocolate.
Anton Yelchin is one of the most promising young actors, and he’s got a unique look at style…not a Twilight dreamboat, but a real actor. I’ll see anything he’s in.
Jennifer is soo overrated, thats why she’s not in the trailer. Lightning doesnt strike twice with that one, but anyone who saw XMen knows that
Is that you, KStew?
Jennifer Laurence is the best thing in this movie by a country mile. Doremus has a great eye but lousy instincts for casting. His leads are insufferable, the writing is insipid. I couldn’t wait for it to be over. Quite who Paramount think is going to see this is beyond me….
Saw this movie at Sundance and LOVED it. I’m so glad to see it was picked up and will definitely see it again when it’s out.
