Dr. House can be a real pain in the ass, but he is not a monster. Well, that is exactly what veteran House writer-producers Garrett Lerner and Russel Friend have in mind for the leading man in their next series project. The duo has sold a drama project to NBC through their overall deal at Universal Media Studios, the studio that produces House. Details on the project, which has a script commitment, are being kept under wraps, but it centers on a modern-day Frankenstein. Lerner and Friend have been on House since the beginning of Season 2, serving as executive producers for the past four years.

a modern day Frankenstein ? is it based on Michele Bachmann’s life story ? the mishaps of too much botox
Actually I think it’s going to be the prequel with the same story only it’s about Nancy Pelosi
Just had to make a completely unrelated political jab, didn’t you?
Don’t you mean Nancy Pelosi?
I’m almost certain Friend and Lerner joined up at Season 2 of House.
um. that’s what it says. season two.
Frankenstein in congress sounds a lot better than this crappy idea… Of course nbc bought it. Of course.
come on now. if it were about bachmann, it would be a zombie story.
I’m excited to see what they turn out.
Has there ever been a modern-day Dracula?
I clicked on this because I thought it said Brad Garrett was cast as a modern-day Frankenstein (time for my eye exam I guess). I’m really disappointed now. This would have been the role of a lifetime for Garrett, like that Jackie Gleason biopic.
At least these two wrote After Hours which is the best episode from last season
