EXCLUSIVE: Jon Turteltaub has signed a two-year overall deal with ABC Studios. Under the pact, Turteltaub will develop and produce series projects through his Junction Entertainment banner, which has been run by Karim Zreik and Dan Shotz for more than a decade now. On the TV side, Turteltaub spent the past 5 years at CBS TV Studios, since he directed/executive produced the pilot for the cult CBS/CBS Studios drama series Jericho, which he also executive produced. For the past 4 years, Turteltaub and Junction Entertainment were under an overall deal at CBS Studios where the company developed and produced such series as the CBS horror drama Haper’s Island and, most recently, the upcoming USA Network show Common Law. On the feature side, National Treasure director Turteltaub, repped by WME and David Lonner, most recently directed The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

KZ rules. Jeanine does not.
KZ totally rules!
Wondering what impact this move to ABC will have on Jericho’s future? The Jericho comic books and the newly released graphic novel (at amazon) are selling so well internationally, maybe this is the next home for Jericho–at ABC? Jericho Rangers can hope this is one of the outcomes from this move.
Good luck Jon.
Hopefully this is good news for Jericho fans. If not a return of the actual program, atleast a mini series or tv movie to provide closure to the compelling story. Love the comic book series and the graphic novel but would love to see the show back in action on tv with its original cast, where it belongs and never should have left in the first place. Maybe ABC will do what CBS could not do.
Thank you Jon for creating “Jericho”, the best show ever on television. It will live on forever in the hearts of all the Jericho Rangers. I wish you all the success in the world with your new endeavors at ABC.
Loved Jericho and everything Jon has done, bring us more Jericho Jon till then your comics sustain us.
THANK YOU for JERICHO. It kept me at the edge of my chair!
And thank you for GERALD MCRANEY. He was so good as Johnston.
And Skeet Ulrich and Lennie James. AMAZING!
Bring GERALD MCRANEY or Skeet or Lennie back on tv please sir??
WE THE JERICHO FANDOM ARE HERE AND STILL WAITING 4 JERICHO’S RESURRECTION!
I agree with all the other posters. Bring Ulrich, McRaney, L.James and Constantino and James Remar back in something….anything! A western would be cool. Jericho was too smart for mainstream monosyllabic America unfortunately.
This is very good news. As others have posted here, I too am hoping this will help get Jericho back in production, either as a TV movie or feature film. The fans are still our here waiting for some good news.
Jon,
You made something good there, with “Jericho”, something of worth. How many can really say that?
We wait with held breath to see if you will bring her back to us.
Please.
