Newly svelte Jonah Hill (almost unrecognizably so) has been formally set to star alongside Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn in Neighborhood Watch, the Akiva Schaffer-directed Fox comedy. Shawn Levy is producing through his 21 Laps banner. Hill will next be seen starring opposite Brad Pitt in Moneyball, which premieres next month at the Toronto Film Festival, and he stars in the David Gordon Green-directed Fox comedy The Sitter. He’ll look like a different actor in Neighborhood Watch, because you can see he has slimmed down quite a bit. He’s repped by WME.

Call me crazy but I think Hill looks freakish at 280 lbs and more so at 150 lbs. Sorry, I just don’t get the attraction. Luckiest guy on the planet!

couldn’t agree more. he’s killed whatever career he really had by getting so thin. this is not jackie gleason, let alone john candy. that said, it doesn’t mean he should be obese, our business has lost too many talented people because of their inability to stay healthy.

It takes a while to get to used to anyone big person that’s had gastric surgery, because their skin still sags in places. Heck, Al Roker still looks weird after all these years.

Great for his health. Terrible for his career. Morbidly obese people with floppy hair are funny. Pale, skinny people who look like child molesters are not. Unless they’re in a skit about pale, skinny child molesters.

Jonah Hill is FAR from Robin Williams sir (seriously, it is like comparing a current local garage band to The Beatles). Perhaps it is a bad photo but in it Jonah looks sick, not healthy. That is why people are saying that he looks worse.

Jonah peaked with Superbad. He looks terrible. His humor is one layered. His new Fox show looks horribly unfunny. Hope he saves his money.

Guys career has skyrocketed since firing Principato Young Entertainment as his manager. He has gotten healthy for one. His roles have become interesting. Smart guy and talented. Good discovery by WMA.
