Lionsgate said today that it will offer nationwide sneak-preview screenings of Warrior, the Gavin O’Connor-helmed action drama starring Joel Edgerton and Tom Hardy, on Sunday, Sept. 4 at 7 PM, ahead of the film’s official Sept. 9 bow. The studio is promoting the mixed martial arts pic via Twitter (it has sponsored a Promoted Trend, #WarriorMovieSneakPreview), which will offer a direct link to buy tickets to the Labor Day weekend screenings; Lionsgate hopes the hashtag will be used to discuss and share information about the movie leading up to its wide release. Tickets also can be purchased at warriorsneakpreview.com.

this is, for sure, one of the best movies of the year. the performances are mind-blowing. hopefully this will be a big awards season contender but people need to get out and see this movie!!!!!!!!!!
I thought the trailer was a preview screening?
This is by far the best film of 2011 thus far. Hardy and Edgerton are phenomenal and Nolte should win Best Supporting. He hasn’t been this good since AFFLICTION. Saw an advanced screening at the Landmark and the crowd was cheering and crying at the end. Incredible film.
Looks good.
i hope best supporting goes to nolte but albert brooks may steal it for drive
I think anything with MMA and UFC is a turnoff. I’ll have to see if the rest of America thinks the same way. This movie looks terrible.
I heavily concur with Anonymous’ comment that he/she thought the trailer was the preview screening.
I felt like I’ve already seen this film after the ridiculously long and ‘Let me tell you exactly how this film starts and ends’ trailer.
Speaking of which, Real Steel is also another trailer that gives the entire game away.
What gives?
I just saw it. I don’t know if tonite’s preview was advertised because the theater had 30 people max.
But everyone of them was loving the movie. Cheering and applauding between matches.
If you like underdog movies you’ll like this one.
