Radar Partners’ Stratton Sclavos is joining the new online network formed by Jeff Kwatinetz and Rich Frank’s Prospect Park. This is the management, media and production company that recently forged a multi-year, multi-platform licensing agreement with Disney/ABC Domestic Television Group to continue production of All My Children and One Life to Live after their ABC runs end. Sclavos was formerly chairman of the board, president and CEO of VeriSign, where he started as one of its first employees in 1995 and helped grow the company into an international corporation with $1.6B in revenue. Sclavos will advise the network on technology, infrastructure and overall content delivery — the key components to delivering those new soap opera properties to loyal viewers. Azure Capital’s Mike Kwatinetz, who was also named to the network’s board, will provide the company with strategic guidance.

Looks like PP is getting its ducks in a row. The next hurdle besides the union contacts, is to sign as many of the stars as possible.
PP should go out of its way to ensure that Robin Strasser as Dorian is on board.
Also securing a studio for OLTL is in order. The last I heard JC Studios, home of ATWT and GL is available.
Looks like this is all going to happen.
Wish Hallmark would sign on to carry the episodes of AMC and OLTL makes perfect sense and creates a daytime destination and PR vehicles for their movies etc.
They’d better hurry up and sign some of these actors, because these other shows are ready to pounce on them.
AMC’s Debbie Morgan has already been picked up by Y&R and Jacob Young is also returning to B&B.
OLTL has already fired/let go Tom Degnan, Gina Tognoni, Robin Strasser, David Fumero and Trevor St. John months before the series will go off the air, so I’d assume those people are gone.
This is great news for soap fans everywhere. Any interest or possibilities in bringing back Another World? AW despite being off air for years, still has a fan following that crosses generational lines.
Great. Need a little more details, like starting date for AMC online.
I think there’s a market out there that would watch all of the old soap operas as far back as they go. This would be great for Internet or the Soap Channel.
