ABC has bought a multi-camera comedy starring Saturday Night Live alum Jim Breuer. Former According To Jim executive producers Judd Pillot and John Peaslee will write and run the project, which originated at ABC Studios. It is a multi-generational comedy that follows Breuer and his wife living under the same roof with his father and three daughters. Levity Entertainment Group, which manages Breuer, is attached to executive produce. Breuer, who is a regular guest on the The Howard Stern Show, is repped by UTA, which also reps Pillot and Peaslee, along with Brillstein.

They’ll need to reference That 70′s Show for ideas on how Breuer can remain stoned the entire time without them really ever saying it.
Or you can update your references to within a decade…
His recent appearances on Stern are simultaneous hilarious & heartbreaking. Slim to none of them revolve around the ‘baked’ persona.
He’s come into his own as an overwhelmed dad and a conflicted son. If it wasn’t for his wild upbeat manic style, Breuer’s story would be a solid drama.
BTW O&D, you enjoying that DVD release of “Spin City”? That just recently went off the air too!
This sounds like every other pilot bought in the last 10 years. And Jim Breuer? Jim Breuer? Is it 1995 again?
multi cam no thank you
Pillot and Peaslee are great guys and I wish them well. Without Belushi
they might have a decent shot.
Breuer is one of the best comics out there but if these guys were responsible for “According To Jim”, one of the worst shows in the history of television, I would not have very high hopes for this!
the first time i saw him was as goat boy on snl. i laughed so hard i was in pain. i wish him luck; he makes me laugh.
