• I’m sure I’ll be dubbed a hater, but one can only hope these new projects are better than “Mr. Sunshine”. It was truly disappointing.

• Congrats to two great writers. Before people start going off on “Mr. Sunshine” – read a few of the credits for some old episodes of “The Family Guy.” Marc Firek is responsible for several of the funniest ones ever made.

• hey, besides being smart, funny, and talented, these guys are tall. very tall. and in the end, isn’t that what it’s all about: being tall? i think so. i mean, sure, the ideas they sold this year are probably two of the strongest and most commercially viable ones pitched so far. And yes, they have a better track record than most of their peer working today. But in the end, when it’s all said in done, you don’t want to sit behind these guys in a movie theater and even more importantly, you don’t want to find yourself on the other end of an impromptu rebounding contest with these literal literary giants.
