JC is a great guy and always has awesome original ideas…
This idea is absolute dreck. Let’s be honest for those who know, this excuse for a project had zero traction so the only producer (sucker) desperate enough to want to engage was Alex Gartner. Nice attempt at publicity guys. Well played.
Correct, the idea is absolute dreck. The exact same idea with the exact same level of dreckishness also sold for like a million dollars or some nonsense last year under the title ABDUCTION.
The script was awful and so naturally it will be opening on 3,000 screens nationwide in a few weeks. Thank you Hollywood.
People relax, this is obviously a joke. This “idea” was probably generated from a madlibs-style book, or more likely, from the Generic Movie Plot Generator TX200.
It’s easy to use, here they clearly just entered “CIA agent” and “partners with” and “mission of revenge” and “high school.”
Is the agent that helps the kid going to be Lou Gossett Jr? This sounds like Iron Eagle set in the CIA.
Ugh!
