The Warlock is gone. A contrite Charlie Sheen looked like his old self in an appearance on The Tonight Show tonight. He didn’t even try to defend any of the actions last spring that led to his firing from Two And A Half Men. ”I thought I could come back, kinda like you did,” he told Leno who returned to The Tonight Show after his 10 PM show failed. Responded Leno, “At least one of us got their job back.” Sheen was asked if he was still angry towards CBS and the Two And A Half Men producers over the sacking. “No, no. I would have fired my ass, too,” Sheen said. ”Well, maybe not like they did.” As for his media blitz last spring, “I said some things that were a little out there,” Sheen said. “I might have overshot the mark a little bit. But these were just metaphors. I didn’t really believe I had tiger blood or Adonis DNA. These were just jokes.” Leno followed up with, “Many people thought you were out of control.
