The final season of NBC’s Chuck and the first of the network’s new drama Grimm will start a week later than originally announced. NBC said today that the two series will now launch on Oct. 28 as part of a two-night Halloween block that will start off on Thursday, Oct. 27, with Halloween-themed episodes of the network’s comedies – Community, Parks and Recreation, The Office and Whitney.

why is Chuck still on the air??
I thought Chuck was being pushed back to midseason?
I think this was a bad move on NBC’s part. Not only is Grimm up against two other popular genres shows, Fringe and Supernatural, one has a very similar premise.
It’s original debut was a whole month after Fringe and Supernatural’s, which means the audience would have had 4 episodes to get into their current season before Grimm premieres. Now they’re moving it back and giving those other shows a 5 episode headstart to gain the Friday night audience.
That’s risky, expecting a new show to take away the audience of Fringe, Supernatural and even CSI: NY.Shows that have built their fanbase for 3, 6 and 7 years.
Hell, I even think it would have had a chance had it premiered when the other shows did, but certainly not this far into the season.I mean, we’re only at the second episode of Fringe and Supernatural and I’m already down for the whole season.
I think they should hold both shows until early January, when everything else is on hiatus, to at least give it a good 3 episode run without any competition.
Even though Chuck doesn’t have as much competition as Grimm, I’m still tapping out this season. It’s going up against Nikita, which I feel is a superior, spy series. So, that’s what I’m picking.
I’m just happy this is the final season of this ridiculous show. This should have been KOed two years ago but NBC has no other options right now. Here’s a thought…bring back Las Vegas for one more season and close up the show properly and believe me, it’ll do better than some of these new shows NBC has on combined.
Chuck is still on because of Yvonne Strahovski. She is smoking hot!!!
Well, to tell the truth, the new Aerican sitcoms are a bit rubbish. The old ones on the other side, for example 30 rock from the sun are really amazing….. I hope they take the old ones as examples and produce better stuff.
What in the blue hell, is 30 rock from the sun? Go watch BBC then.
Dude I am feeling out majorly for GRIMM. I’m so pissed I have to wait another week! I tried to get into the premiere at Comic-con and it was full but my friends who saw it said it’s very entertaining and x-files/buffy/supernatural old-fashioned fun.
by the way NBC never greenlights good stuff for the genre fanboys so I swear if this gets pulled before letting it find an audience I’m boycotting NBC (not that I watch it much anyway – but I do love the single-camera comedies)
I guess showrunner David Greenwalt is having his portrait painted that week.

As the joke went on Running Wilde, 30 rock, from the sun?
Chuck I love it but on Fridays is ridiclous. Sorry, I am watching Supernatural and DVRing Fringe now.
Who cares about Grimm, that should be on Scifi.
I cant wait to see Grimm again. I loved it!
