• I think one of the big untold (or barely told) stories is how Principato and Dave Becky created the modern TV comedy universe. For good or for ill, whether you like the various offshoots of the mid-1990s New York alternative comedy or not, just about all of those roads lead to 3 Arts and Principato.

• There is no manager, let alone executive at-large in Hollywood, with more good will in the universe than David Gardner. Particulary in a business of sharks and back-stabbers it is unique to dinguish oneself as “one of the good guys”. This is David. It is evident this quality has already benefitted David’s business and will continue to further his reputation into the future.

• I once worked as an assistant directly across from David’s office. David’s assistant sat next to me. I saw something very odd: David actually treated his assistant like a real human being. Congrats David. If anyone deserves this, you do.
