Wow, they are relaly milking this, aren’t they? I liked this better when it was originally the sequel to the Blair Witch Project!
So this is the new annual Saw franchise, eh?
I’m such a sucker for these movies.
Can’t wait.
Yay.
looking really stale and familiar. SIGH. Nothing ever gets to be a classic anymore because they just bleed it to death in franchise hell until it’s got zero cache or originality..
So this is the Prequel to the Original of a copy? Gold
Where’s ‘Area 51′? Wasn’t that supposed to come out last year?
Is it true that the guys that made that piece of crap “Catfish” made this thing, too? Pass..
I’m not getting all snooty about this one. I love the series. Good cheap fun.
Jason Blum is amazing. He turned a tiny little movie that everyone forgot about into the most profitable franchise in history. This one looks even better than the rest. I’ll be first in line, bro!
I REALLY wanted NOT to like this trailer. But it actually FREAKED ME THE F’ OUT! That looks good! And no, I did not have any involvement with the project.
holy guacamole!
can’t believe this magic trick is still working.
i say, if it’s working, keep it up!
I bet all the best thrills were in that trailer! If PA1 and PA2 did the woman talk about scares like this when they were growing up
Yes, in both the previous films, the sisters discuss with their families how they’ve felt a malignant presence following them since they were children. In the first film, the husband finds a singed photograph of his wife as a child. She reveals that that picture shouldn’t exist – their house burned to the ground when they were girls. Say what you want but these features are well setup. I’m not necessarily giving them credit for thinking that far ahead, but they have found a really clever way to tell this story by going backwards in time with every story. I saw the first film in a special screening, before anyone had ever seen it, and I can tell you that a theater full of people when home that night and didn’t sleep. I have never experienced such a building of pit-of-your-stomach dread before. The first was was extremely effective if you didn’t know what you were walking into, and if you haven’t been so ruined by the A.D.D.-pandering gore fests of modern horror. It was nearly flawless ghost storytelling. The second wasn’t nearly as strong, but it had its moments. I’m looking forward to this 3rd incarnation (especially considering the Bloody Mary teaser was completely eerie), but I’ll be keeping my expectations low. It must take place in the early 90s? I see VCRs! EEEEEK!
To me… Looks better than 1 and 2
this looks like a steaming pile of turd.
The water scare would’ve been really good in theatres if they didn’t spoil it in the trailer.
so this is a comedy now?
looks to unreal to be scary i men the guy hitting his head into the table mad me laugh.
not bad real effectve but of course it isent real but great movie
The first two were not very scary at all. Was dissapointed to be honest wit ya. When I just watched the trailer to this one it creaped me out more than the first two combined. Looks like a good one!!
Scary. did they ever get rid of the ghost?
Wow! I won’t be able to sleep at night! Not what a joke. It’s almost as believable as Ghost Hunters!
What’s supposed to keep us up all night?
The first two was laughable.. can’t believe this scares people. You want to be scared just turn on the news
