Liam Hemsworth has been cast in The Expendables 2, the sequel to the action-hero-rich actioner that Simon West is directing for Millennium Films. The movie already stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Terry Crews and Jet Li, as well as Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme — with expanded roles for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis thrown in — and filming is set to begin in October. The original movie made $274 million worldwide. Hemsworth recently wrapped shooting on Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games.

He was originally going to be in the first film but his role was cut when the script ended up being too long and had far too many characters.
I hope in the sequel, there will be more amazing fight scenes and that the climactic fight between Sylvester Stallone and Jean-Claude Van Damme will knock everyone on their ass.
It would be good if they also include Jackie Chan, Steven Seagal, Michael Jai White, Kurt Angle and Bill Goldberg.
When are “they” going to stop forcing the lesser talented Hemsworth down our throats? A deal was made with big brother & Lionsgate so he can undeservingly get the role of Gale in Hunger Games, now this? Someone pull his visa and send him back to Aussie soap opera’s. He is and will always be Mr. Miley Cyrus.
so random..
Awww. The Littlest Expendable.
just…why. I want The Hunger Games to be great, if not oscar worthy. If not at least they will gross the same as Twilight. This would be like Robert Pattinson doing Problem Child 5 after the first Twilight movie. An A-list actor with D list has-beens? Just..why.
I guess the key word is “Expendable”
