Lifetime has renewed its promising new docu-series Dance Moms for a second season with a 13-episode order. The series starring infamous dance instructor Abby Lee Miller will wrap its first season October 5. Over the past four weeks, Dance Moms has averaged 1.6 million total viewers, growing 62% since the premiere. With a median age of 38, Dance Moms, produced by Collins Avenue, is also Lifetime’s youngest-skewing original program. Season-to-date, the show has averaged 1.3 million viewers and 657,000 adults 18-49.

OMG! I am a competitive dancer as well as one of the nations top 5th grade AAU basketball playes in the country, and let me tell you even being a tomboy i’m over the top HOOKED on this show! I eat Fritos cuz Cathy does, I memorized the routines, I do the Acro Brooke does, I even have a Dance Moms shirt!! My fave song is ” It’s Like Summer.” By Lux cuz it was on the show, I even traveled to see the girls perform. I AM HOPELESSLY IN LOVE W/ ABBY LEE MILLER DANCE COMPANY AND DANCE MOMS! CANT WAIT TIL” SEASON 2 IS GONNA START!!!!
I danced and marched in parades when I was young and these girls are not being abused they are being “trained for success” we were yelled at and we learned we were the best because we were made to be the best, real life is a competition and real show dancers put in the time and they only make it if they are trained early, I was a Mernette and still take pride in watching them open the Holiday Parade and I know theyare there and proud to be there from all that hard work, I would love to see Abby’s girls in person
I am so excited that they renewed this show for a second season. I hope it stays with Abby Lee Miller dance company, I love this girls and their moms. Melissa is really a piece of work though, isnt she? Also, please dont bring back Kathy and Vivi. Kathy is a psychotic bitch who thinks WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to highly of herself (never seen her as quiet as when her company lost to ALM in competition) and Vivi can not dance; and I don’t think she wants to anyways.

I give this show 4 stars it could of had more episodes and i myself love the fights, great dancing and their victory and there chant on the 2nd to last episode is so cute- 1 2 3 we are abby lee 4 5 6 see our high kicks 7 8 arent we great 9 10 we just won again – thats so cute
Four stars? 5! They could of had more shows but they’re making us want more, which I do. They said 8 twice when they said it in that episode. Maddie’s and Mackenzie’s dad is weird. I hope he doesn’t follow through with his promise. I would hate to see them stop dancing. Well, Maddie stop dancing. (Since I’m not Melissa I can say …) Maddie has so much talent!
I love this show and so does my husband believe it or not. Chloe reminds me a little of my own daughter and I just want to see her succeed. I also want to see her really beat Maddie so everyone can see just how great she is!

Oh my gosh. I love this show, but Abby needs to learn when to keep her mouth shut. Poor little MaKenzie cries all the time, because abby makes her. And Abbys health doesnt set a good example
Abby doesn’t make her cry. She isn’t that into dancing. She would rather watch TV and eat chips.
I love the crazy fights the mothers get into…… especially chloe’s mom I love the lines she says like…… Prostetots i Love this show……… can’t wait for season 2!!!!!

Chloe and maddy love eachother and are friends as well as all the other girls they are not as “Mean” as the show makes them seem. they are 8 -10 years old take it easy on them
This show is amazing sometimes i feel like crying cause I love Chloe so much. My friend and I when we are at dance and we are sore we just say, be like Chloe be like Chloe. This show is inspiring and makes me more confident everyday. Can’t wait for the 2 season!!!???

I’m a dancer and I wish I was pushed as hard as them! Maddie is the best dancer I’ve ever seen! Cloe is ok and all but when she forgets her dance or her mom starts acting up I’m thinking “If she forgets in the real dance world she’ll be a complete mess!” Maddie is going to dance the rest of her life. If I could dance at their studio I would for sure. Season 2 is 2 far away.
BTW Kathy should just leave with Vivi and follow that Dawn chick. If I was Vivi I would be mad at Kathy for making me leave. She could’ve had some kind of good dancer in her. Well now she can play softball with pink bunnies eating carrots and candy apples. If she loves carrots so much why isn’t it candy CARROTS dance center? She’s so weird!
Maddie is my new hero. She’s friendly, caring, and a good sport. She can dance like there’s no tomorrow. She would kill herself if she didn’t dance. (I think I would too.) She’ll be on Broadway one day. When she is I’ll have to go see her star in show one day when she gets a leading role! She spends all her time dancing. She loves to dance. She may be a little competitive but that’s okay. She just wants to stay on top and she certainly should be if she’s going to dance. I wish I could meet her! She may be younger than me but she’s so much better at dancing than me. It’s also all thanks to Abby, I want to go to ALDC so badly.
My favorite dancer on the show Chloe she rocks. I take dance were not allowed to wear sports bras.

i love dance moms its the best show in the world.i want to know when season 2 comes on i have been waiting for it ever since season 1 went off i have seen every episode.but this is something i get tired of is that Maddie wins almost every dance competition i think Chloe is so much better than Maddie is. Abby is so cool.the other girls i like is.Nia,Brooke,Page,Chloe,mackenzie.i also like the moms they are fantastic even my boyfriend likes dance moms. that’s something every body on dance moms should be proud of.
Season 2 starts in January! I can’t wait! Even though it’s already December and Christmas is coming up.

So I’m fairly new to the dance world (started a little over a year ago) and I’m not very good just yet and this show has taught me how to have discipline. This show is not only entertaining but very inspiring. Even though these girls are much younger then me, I look up to them as a fellow dancer.
I look up to them, too. Maddie is two years younger than me and has inspired me to work my hardest and Brooke is three years older than me and she’s inspired me to do acro tricks. I can actually stand on my chin and put my feet over my head. I can’t hold on to it but I have a good start!
