Job creation proved more popular with the American public than the U.S. policies on Libya and Iraq. President Barack Obama’s speech about his job-creation plan drew 31.4 million viewers last night night across 11 networks on broadcast and cable. That was more than Obama’s recent TV addresses on Libya in March (25.6 million) and on Iraq in August 2010 (29.2 million). That is despite last night’s speech airing at 7 PM, while the Libya speech started at 7:30 PM and the Iraq address in primetime at 8 PM. Of course, none of the three came close to Obama’s May announcement of the death of Osama bin Laden, which attracted 56.5 million viewers. Among the cable news networks, Fox News Channel dominated with 3.4 million viewers, followed by CNN (1.9 million) and MSNBC (1.7 million).

I say at half of those people were waiting for football to start.
That’s pretty good. Someone should sign this guy. WME? CAA? Don’t think ICM could handle him. Maybe he’s more of a boutique type?
But in all seriousness, do any of the former Presidents have representation? Curious.
Those are good ratings.
I think his series should be renewed.
Well, it DOES have an audience. Course, so does THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE.
That’s really good ratings for a Repeat!
Has nothing to do with that bozo and everything to do with people waiting for football.
Thats not true..People have a choice to watch whatever they want. Why would they stay on that channel if they didnt want to watch the Presidents speech on Jobs. The shape this country is in today, a foolish person is the one who would ignore politics or discredit the president for trying to help Americans get back to work.
“Fox News Channel dominated with 3.4 million viewers”
*shakes head in disbelief*
I`ll watch anything w/out commercials
The President needs to continue to speak his mind, stop trying to compromise with the racist R’s and tea partiers. They are not against Obamas plans, they are against Obama because of three things. 1. He is of mixed race which includes black, the most hated race in the world. 2. He is intelligent and not stereotypical as the no good black man. 3. He is a democrat which causes him to fight for middle class and poor class of people.
Obama is not a bad President. He has hundreds of great attributes and if those people would take off their blinders and work with him, we would have a great nation.
