Fox already has three successful cooking series with Gordon Ramsay on the air. Now the network has ordered a fourth reality series from the Scottish chef, this time set in the hotel business. The title of the new series, Hotel Hell, is reminiscent of Ramsay’s flagship show on Fox, Hell’s Kitchen, while its premise is similar to that of his makeover Fox series Kitchen Nightmares. Hotel Hell, from Ramsay’s One Potato Two Potato production company, will feature Ramsay and a team of hospitality experts traveling across the country to fix struggling or mediocre hotels, motels and bed & breakfasts. In his trademark no-holds-barred style, Ramsay will go head-to-head with the owners and staff as he tries to whip the failing hotels into shape by making them fix their problems — from dirty bedrooms and mold-ridden bathrooms to incompetent employees or sub-par customer service. “These are stories that everyone can relate to, because virtually all of us have had a bad hotel experience that’s turned a holiday or business trip into a total disaster,” Ramsay said. “It’s time to put the hospitality industry to the test.” On the show, Ramsay will call on more than a decade of experience running restaurants in top hotels around the world, traveling as well as running a boutique hotel in London. “Gordon is amazing to work with and no matter what the premise, he delivers every time,” Fox president of alternative programming Mike Darnell said. “With an unprecedented three shows already on the air, Gordon is an incredible television success, and we’re really thrilled to put him through Hotel Hell on Fox.” Under his current deal with Fox, which runs through 2014, CAA-repped Ramsay is executive producing and starring on Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares and MasterChef, the last one produced by One Potato Two Potato, Ramsay’s joint production venture with Optomen Television. Unlike those series, which were based on formats that originated in the UK, Hotel Hell is a new format that Ramsay’s company developed with Darnell and Fox.

Why reward an arrogant, rude, bastard? I don’t care what his food looks or tastes like! His shows are a good reason to NOT watch television.
Poor baby,,lash out at what you don’t understand.
You donkey.
I agree with the original post. I don’t care for Gordon Ramsay and at this point, I’m frankly bored with his shtick.
I never thought I’d want to watch yet another Ramsay show but this sounds hilarious. And the tons of other lame restaurant/hairdresser/business makeover shows will always be lame imitators. Nice work Ramsay.
Totally original…if you forget The Hotel Inspector and others that air in the UK that have the same premise. Only change here is that we have Gordon to yell and puke food cooked by the kitchen staff. I guess they can always claim the other format didn’t have someone like Ramsay judging the cooking so it’s totally different…NOT!
You’ve obviously never watched his other shows (besides Hell’s Kitchen). He only yells, swears, & gets douche-y when needed when he’s dealing with an idiot or a jerk. The rest of the time he’s soft spoken, kind, intuitive, and funny. The anger bit is a tool for teaching and entertaining. The rest of the time he’s a lovable guy.
Agreed, me0w– especially on Kitchen Nightmares and Masterchef as opposed to Hell’s Kitchen. He does what’s expected of him on Hell’s Kitchen and plays the part of “angry Gordon” but really seems to care about the restaurants/owners on Kitchen Nightmares and the contestants on Masterchef.
The UK hotel shows that you refer to were a blatant rip off of Ramsay’s original British version of Kitchen Nightmares. The fact that none of those shows ever made it over the pond pretty much says it all.
It’s No Secret That Gordon Ramsay is Close Friends with Simon Cowell.
Good Show Gordon.I Love This Guy. You came across the Pond with Simon to Conquer The Yanks and You Bloody Well have! This sets president. With 4 Shows Running simultaneous on FOX and Guest Appearances on Other Shows.
I predict that You and Your Mate Simon Cowell will be Knighted by The Queen of England for Your contributions in Culinary Arts and Entertainment Business. All hail, Sir Ramsay The First.
All You other Culinary Wannabees, take Notice of those Golden Locks
Ka Ching Baby!!!!
I LOVE Gordon Ramsay! Can’t wait for the new series.
He’s also pretty good at shuffleboard.
boiling point was awesome even if you dont like the newer stuff
and if you really care about a ‘real’ ramsay watch that one
looks like Gordon is now set to become the hardest and evilest working chef on reality tv.a fourth series now. hope the hotels have a plan in place when Gordon comes a calling.
Kitchen Nightmares is one of my favorite shows–this looks even better. Can’t wait.
Please FOX, stop it with the Ramsey shows!!! Ugh. I am so over Gordon Ramsey. This is reality overkill!
