Add another platform for Ridley and Tony Scott. The pair are collaborating on a web video series for Call of Duty Elite TV, an upcoming service built around the Activision game franchise. The series from Ridley Scott Associates, called Friday Night Fights, will bring real life rivals together to battle it out in Call of Duty multiplayer. Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg announced plans for the series Friday night in a presentation at the two-day game festival Call of Duty XP in Playa Vista, Calif. The Scotts have proven themselves quite the multi-taskers. As Deadline’s Mike Fleming reported exclusively last month, Ridley is revisiting Blade Runner, on top of working on his 2012 summer release Prometheus, and Tony is preparing to reboot The Wild Bunch while also gearing up for Hell’s Angels. Both are heavily involved in their prolific Scott Free Productions, which has built up a television empire, receiving 23 Emmy nominations this year. Call of Duty Elite TV launches in November, with other programming for the web TV outfit coming from Jason Bateman and Will Arnett’s DumbDumb, in partnership with Ben Silverman’s multimedia studio Electus.

Ridley and COD slowly busting down that “awful” saying that games and movies don’t work. Most haven’t but I think they have made a breakthrough.
At 73, Ridley is more forward thinking and tech savvy than most 33 year olds. The man is a god!
actually he is old, too old to know that call of duty is regarded by everyone to be a crap game only popular for its ability to attract the frivolous minds of 13 year olds. Someone shouldve told Scott about Battlefield 3 or other games that actually deserve a movie treatment.
Battlefield 3 doesn’t need the Scott brothers. Not sure why Activision thinks they do either, but something tells me they’re really starting to feel the heat from their EA competition.
youre right, but having ridley scott’s name on a call of duty project is just wrong. He probably thinks its the popular equivalent of “Monopoly’ board game which he is also doing. Just because something is popular doesnt mean its good, I’m guessing he’s only doing it for his grand kids or something.
How the mighty have fallen vid games or remakes or reboots. Thank god for Fincher. Please please enought of Bladerunner.
im confused as to what it is theyll actually be producing
