Former Scrubs star Sarah Chalke will reunite with the series’ creator Bill Lawrence for a major arc on his latest comedy, ABC’s Cougar Town. Our sister site TVLine reports that Chalke will play a love interest for Brian Van Holt’s character. For fans who hope that this could turn into a full-time gig — Chalke is under a development deal at 20th Century Fox TV and is expected to topline her own show targeted for next fall.

I love Sarah chalke she is awesome. Hopefully she will get another show with no American Pie dorks in it
I think Chalke is wonderfull, I just hope her new sit-com doesn’t end up on NBC’s Thursday Nights “Must Suck TV”. There is where it will die, CBS seems to be the place for sit-coms these days.
This makes me hate Cougartown even more. I didn’t think it was possible, but the most pretentious show on TV just got even more pretentious.
