Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh’s 25-year anniversary production of The Phantom of the Opera will be coming to movie theaters this fall. A new stage production will be presented on October 2 in London’s Royal Albert Hall. NCM Fathom and Omniverse Vision will broadcast the opening night performance live to about 500 U.S. theaters at 2 p.m. EDT on Sunday, Oct. 2, and follow with pre-recorded broadcasts on October 5-6 and one final encore on Oct. 11. Ramin Karimloo will be “The Phantom” and Sierra Boggess is “Christine” in the new production.

How can I find the closest theater to me?

Prima Donna first lady, of the stage, your devotees are on their knees to implore you. Can you bow out when they’re shouting, your name. Think of all they all…….adore you.

First Carlotta, now Christine…..
Still at least the seats get sold.
Gossip’s worth it’s weight in gold.
To find tickets goto Andrew Lloyd webbers page or AMC theatres web-page. I will go but if its $40 a ticket (LIKE IT WAS FOR SOME SHOWS) I pass
NCN Fathom does an excellent job with the live Metropolitan Opera movie theater transmissions, so they at least should have the technical aspects nailed down.
As for the pricing, the frisson of an “as it is happening” opening-night performance might well justify a $40+ ticket price.
